I was floating away. My sense of reason slipped away from me as I drifted away from the bright shore. The last rays of the sun were gone before I noticed and with them the last spark of my hope too.
My eyelids trembled. My sense of reason already left me behind. Aside from that, I couldn't even feel my body now. The only thing I felt is that my being is drifting through something. I felt no coldness or any kind of warmness. I could only feel that something around me was moving.
I reached ashore, I don't know when. I'm not even sure if it is really ashore. But I stopped moving. My surroundings also come to a stop with me. It was strangely dead calm.
