Five days had passed since Reid arrived at the Arison family residence. Reid had learned quite a lot about the Arison company. Even an expert in the business world was brought directly to Arison's house to give Reid special lessons about business.

Reid may have graduated with a master's degree in Business Management, but Reid's experience in companies is still limited, still far from Raynold or his two sons who have been involved in the corporate world for a long time.

That's why Jacob brought in the business expert to be Reid's personal mentor.

Reid studied seriously and absorbed everything quickly. Even the mentor praised Reid as a genius—which was true.

That evening, when Reid had just finished his dinner, Charles approached his young master to tell him something.

"Young Master, I just received news from the spy who was sent to spy on Nancy," said Charles.

“What did he say?" Reid asked, wiping his lips with a napkin.

“Tonight—exactly in an hour—Nancy will have dinner with Liam at a restaurant. "Liam just called Nancy and invited her, that's why this report just came," said Charles.

"Another hour... it's a short time, but that doesn't mean I can't do something," Reid muttered. Then he pushed back his chair and got up.

"Charles, prepare the car, we will go to the restaurant right now," said Reid.

“But, Young Master, didn't Mr. Jacob say you should stay at home first until you are introduced to Arison's company? To prevent anyone from finding out earlier about your true identity," said Charles in an objectionable tone - something he had done for the first time. Usually Charles always agreed to whatever Reid ordered over the past few days.

"I know Young Master definitely want to avenge what your ex-girlfriend and half-brother did, but you can't reveal your identity—"

"Who said I would reveal my identity tonight?" Reid interrupted in a casual tone.

Charles frowned. "Then what is Young Master’s plan?"

Reid smiled, grinned to be exact. “Just a little revenge for starters.”

An hour later, Reid arrived in front of the restaurant Charles was referring to. Instead of going straight in there, Reid chose to stay in the car. He didn't have to witness this small act of revenge up close.

Five days of staying at the Arison residence made Reid begin to know what powers the Arison family had. Not only money, but his grandfather also had many bodyguards and spies, spies who were equipped with sophisticated surveillance equipment, and one of which Reid was currently using.

A tablet screen displays CCTV footage inside the restaurant.

It's not difficult to install a small camera there, for money it's very easy to do. Reid had told one of his bodyguards to talk to the restaurant and also arrange a few things.

After all, CCTV cameras are not intended for deviant purposes or violate privacy—at least, not tonight. Reid just wanted to watch a little entertainment.

The camera focuses on the area inside the restaurant which is decorated with magnificent and elegant decorations. Two couples had just arrived and approached the reception desk, asking where the table they had booked was.

"Unfortunately you won't be getting a table tonight," Reid muttered.

Yes, the two couples are Nancy and Liam.

Liam's face, which previously looked bright, turned confused when he heard the receptionist's answer.

Reid turned up the volume on his tablet to hear their conversation more clearly.

“What do you mean you can't? Obviously when I was on the phone to book a table, I got table number 15. Now you're saying that the table is already being used by someone else? Does not make sense!" Liam even hit the reception desk with his hand, making the receptionist flinch.

Poor receptionist, Reid thought. In his heart he intended to give the receptionist more tips later.

"Okay. If table number 15 is already being used by someone else, give me any table number right now," said Liam again. He seemed to look around the room, looking at the other tables, many of which were still empty. Only about four tables were used.

“Sorry, sir, but the other tables are also booked. Everything, including the four tables already occupied by customers, has already had a replacement order," said the receptionist.

Liam's eyes widened. “You want to play with me? What is this? Who actually books that many tables? Tell me, who is the person? That person definitely doesn't know that his actions have offended me," said Liam angrily.

"Sorry, sir, but our customers' identities are not to be divulged," replied the receptionist.

That reply was obviously like adding fuel to the fire. Liam got even angrier.

“Don't you know me? I'm Liam Cliffton! Are there still people more powerful than me here?! Quickly tell me who it is! I'll make amends with him for ruining my dinner plans!"

Reid wanted to laugh at Liam's words. Liam is still arrogant and feels that in this world the Cliffton family is the most powerful, even though compared to the Arison family, the Cliffton family is nothing.

Nancy, who had been silent beside Liam for a long time, seemed to be looking left and right, perhaps uncomfortable because Liam's loud voice attracted the attention of the only few other customers.

Nancy was seen pulling Liam's arm. Smiling at the man. “Honey, there's no need to waste your energy being angry. If all the tables in this restaurant are already booked, it's better if we just look for another restaurant. This is our special night, right? There's no need to ruin it by being so angry," said Nancy in a gentle tone.

That tone made Reid think for a moment. In the past, it was certain that Reid would definitely melt with Nancy's words spoken in that tone. Like when Nancy asked to buy an expensive gift, even though Reid had little savings, Reid would still say yes. This made him have to look for another side job to increase his income for what Nancy wanted.

Now that Reid knew everything, Reid realized how disgusting Nancy was. Utilizing it for her own desires. And even had the heart to cheat on him. Great.

Liam seemed to smack Nancy's hand roughly. Ignore the woman's words and continue to get angry.

“Call your manager immediately. They say it's a classy restaurant, but the service is zero like this!” Liam exclaimed again.

The receptionist had no choice, she went to call her boss.

Before long, a man with a neat appearance appeared who was none other than the restaurant manager.

Liam seemed to have found a new target to get angry at. He also continued his anger at the manager.

"I don't want to know, basically I want to have dinner at this restaurant. Don't you know who I am? I'm Daniel Cliffton's son, do you dare to deal with my family? If you don't immediately give me a table, I will make a calculation with this restaurant. It will ruin this restaurant's reputation!” Liam threatened.

But instead of being afraid of Liam's threat, the manager turned to the receptionist. “Call security at the front to throw these people out.”

Liam widened his eyes. Especially when two security guards actually came and dragged Liam and Nancy out of the restaurant.

Reid turned off his tablet. He doesn't need to look at the tablet screen anymore because now the show is moving directly in front of his eyes. Reid just looked out the car window and saw the two people being pushed out of the restaurant by security.

Reid smiled at the scene.
