Reid widened his eyes when he saw Amanda's body fall to the ground.

“Amanda!” he exclaimed. Reid immediately ran towards the woman. He turned her over and placed her on his lap. Reid's hands were suddenly wet with blood seeping from Amanda's back. The red color on her silver dress looked very striking.

“Reid, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought you to this place," Amanda said haltingly.

Reid ignored Amanda's words and chose to take off his jacket, draping the cloth around Amanda's back, hoping to stop the flow of blood there.

"It's useless, Reid, I know I won't survive," Amanda said again with difficulty.

“Stop talking nonsense. You will be safe. You're the strongest woman I've ever known, so don't give up now," said Reid in a scolding tone at Amanda.

Amanda smiled weakly. “You know I never talk nonsense. I know I can't survive tonight.”
