Astentstein quickly retrieved a small smartphone from his pocket, only to find its screen shattered. "Damn it!" he exclaimed, hurling the phone to the ground as he rushed out of his room, ensuring that George and Ivan were nowhere in sight. "Sir, should we stop the Major and Corporal from leaving?" one of the guards asked, observing the Commissioner's panicked state. "Forget about them. Do you have a phone?" Astentstein inquired.
