Astentstein quickly retrieved a small smartphone from his pocket, only to find its screen shattered. "Damn it!" he exclaimed, hurling the phone to the ground as he rushed out of his room, ensuring that George and Ivan were nowhere in sight. "Sir, should we stop the Major and Corporal from leaving?" one of the guards asked, observing the Commissioner's panicked state. "Forget about them. Do you have a phone?" Astentstein inquired. The guard nodded, searching his pockets until he produced a small smartphone. He unlocked it and handed it to the Commissioner. Astentstein snatched the phone and swiftly navigated to the call application. Pulling out a small booklet from his back pocket, he located a number he had written down and dialed it. As he pressed the call button, he approached the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of General Jordan. However, the only figures in sight were the Major, the Corporal, and the remaining soldier still aboard the plane. "Where the hell are you, Jordan?"

The sleek military planes descended gracefully, their wings slicing through the air as they touched down upon the rugged expanse of the Texas land base.
