The Real Flames Part 5

" Do you believe in me now?" Dawn asked Lock, who was now not aggressive.

" Can you also change me into what Kevin is?" Instead of answering his question, Dawn replied like that. " I don't want to live anymore with this body. I don't want to be weak, please can you make me like my friend." He grabbed Dawn's shoulder and asked him again and again.

Dawn could see in his eyes that he no longer wished to live.

' It's my fault, I should have not told him the entire truth.' Kevin spoke to Dawn, and Dawn could also feel the sadness and frustration that Kevin was feeling seeing his friend like this.

" I can not create another creature like Kevin for now, I want you to wait until I can," Dawn replied.

" How long will I have to wait?" He questioned.

" For a year at least."

' You can turn him, right? If he wants it then why are you making excuses.' Kevin spoke to Dawn.

' Your friend is alive, you were dead Kevin. There is only one way we can make him like you that is after his death. I want to help your friend, he is a kind human, and there are other ways to help him. I am not making excuses, I am just buying myself the time.'

" How can I live uselessly like that?" Lock questioned.

" To become strong, you need patience. No matter how defeated, weak or pathetic you are, in the end only one thing matters. You have to get back up to be able to fight back." Dawn's words were serious, he looked straight into his eyes. It was only now that Lock had realized who he was talking to.

Dawn's eyes were unwavering and were so beautifully deep that one would be lost if they looked for too long. The lock couldn't look anywhere else it was like time has stopped for him.

*Slap* Dawn clapped his hands on both of his cheeks with all his strength to bring him out of his daze.

" Don't ever look me in my eyes, I am warning you." He said with an enraged voice. ' How did I gain this cursed ability once again? I never noticed that my eyes changed. Am I changing back to what I was?'

He breathed deeply and then looked at Kevin and then at lock.

" There is one way to help, can you give salamander stone to me? I will use it to help Kevin gain the ability of real flames."

Lock didn't even think and with his bare hands, he dug into his chest and took out the crystal.

" You can have it, but remember you will make me stronger and help me get revenge in return."

" I can only promise that if it is for a valid purpose."

------

Dawn had the salamander king crystal in his hand, it was a red stone and Dawn could feel a soul within it. It was the soul of a salamander, he had seen some of them in his previous life but he had never heard of there being a crystal like this.

' Kevin, You wanted to get real flames, right?'

' So this can help me get the flames.'

' Not only you but me as well and it will still have the power for your friend to use once again.'

' What? This is possible?'

Dawn grabbed the crystal in his left hand, and in his right hand, a small magic circle started to form. Once the circle finished, it left his hand floating on the ground. It started to expand and emit a purple light.

Dawn placed the crystal in the middle and what came out of it was an aetherial form of the salamander king. It started to dissolve into particles and was being transferred into Dawn's body.

' Kevin, in my hand.'

' I hate this skinship.' The Wisp complained before landing on his hand. A red aura of flames emitted from his palms and it was being absorbed by Kevin.
