HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, PUNK!

Chad gives a light smile. If Lucian had chosen the first option, he would have been so disappointed in him and would have walked away after giving him the money with zero interest in wanting to have anything to do with him ever again in the future.

He is more than happy that Lucian chose the second option. He is indeed one of the Huttons; astute and strategic. The blood runs through his veins! He is just as strategic and astute as Michael, his father, if not more!

As he looks up at Lucian for the first time, he feels it in his guts that he could end up being a great assistant to Michael and lift the family out of this unforeseen crisis.

He doesn't think he needs to know Lucian more to come to that decision. To him, Lucian has demonstrated how smart he is just now.

It is a family trait that distinguishes the Huttons and makes them retain their position as the wealthiest family in the world!

He enthusiastically rubs his jaw, clears his throat, and says, "Now that you've made a decision, young master, I'd like to ask the company you'd like to buy; since your father, my master, has already decided to get the company, it is natural for you to be the one to make the decision!"

Lucian's eyes sparkle. "Really? So any company I choose will be obtained automatically?"

Chad returns his smile. "Of course, young master! Don't forget which family you come from! We get whatever we want! Just make a choice, and I'll surprise you!"

Lucian doesn't deliberate on that. He only nods not showing much interest as his mind goes to work for the company he would choose.

He naturally knows every company in the city like the back of his hand as a student who had labored day and night to get the job he recently lost. But he has to pause for a moment to reflect. He won't want to make the wrong choice!

He sneers as soon as a thought infiltrates his mind. "Silverlight Microsoft company!"

Chad furrows his brow. "Are you certain that this company is the one you want, young master?" He asks politely.

Lucian doesn't hesitate to nod. "Yes, I'm certain. That is the company I want."

Chad is dumbfounded! When the young man with the young lady, Laura mocked his young master and made him come to a decision a few minutes ago, he assumed Lucian would choose to buy Seth's company to teach him a lesson. But, to his surprise, his young master had other plans! So much for being a Hutton!

He must have something up his sleeve!

Indeed, Lucian does have something up his sleeve! He had purposely chosen that company!

Silverlight Microsoft Company, although third-rated to Lily Microsoft Company, is one company that he believes has great potential. With his managerial prowess, he is certain he can grow it, and soon it can go head-to-head with Seth's company!

Seth, who is still standing with Laura by his side and has been listening, laughs out loud at the corner a few steps away.

This punk must be putting on a show just to scare us! Haha, or maybe he's gone insane!

He scoffs dismissively and looks down at Laura. "Your ex is now a psycho! By chasing him out of my company, I must have hit him so hard. It's pointless to listen to his nonsense. Let's get out of here."

Laura doesn't have any objection. She's known Lucian for so long that she naturally believes he's still a mere orphan. If that is so, how can he purchase Silverlight Microsoft Company?

It makes no sense to her, so she doesn't think she's interested in continuing to listen. If Seth had not suggested leaving, she would have done so herself. Without further ado, she takes his hand in hers and they walk away.

Lucian is unconcerned about them or what they think. He simply watches them walk away for a few moments before shifting his gaze elsewhere. They'll beg him on their knees one day! He'll make certain of it.

"I apologize for intruding, young master, but may I ask why you chose that company over Seth's? That young man clearly mocked you severally and had the guts to plot against you with your ex, why didn't you choose to teach him a lesson?"

Lucian sneers. The old man, Chad has just revealed his real identity to him, so he sees no reason to conceal his plans from him. He asks, with a sinister smile, "Why teach him a lesson all at once when there are several other ways to do it? Silverlight Microsoft Company has a promising future! I believe that with time, I will be able to compete with Seth's company! I intend to beat him in business!"

"Oh," Chad laughs. He takes out his phone and dials a number. "Purchase Silverlight Microsoft Company right away!" He says authoritatively and hangs up the phone.

In less than five minutes, Chad's phone rings and he immediately picks it up. "Good," that is all says before hanging up and turning to Lucian. "The company has been gotten for you, young master! I didn't see the point in bothering you, so I handled the situation myself! You are officially the CEO of Silverlight Microsoft Company!"

Lucian is astounded by Chad's efficiency! His mouth slightly opens! In barely five minutes, he became a CEO. Wow!

But he's never been one to deliberate so much on such things, so even though he's shocked, it doesn't take him long to adjust his mood and close his mouth, erasing every trace of surprise from his face. "Since that's the case, I'll go check it out right away! No need to waste time!"

"All right, young master, I'll make your arrival known!" Chad beams.

"No," Lucian says quickly.

"What?" Chad asks, his brow furrowed.

"I don't want my identity to be known yet! To the rest of the world, I'm still an orphan who has nothing to his name! I want it to stay that way. You can only tell the general manager that I'm her new boss, but don't reveal my identity to her! And to others, let her just tell them their new boss will soon arrive!"

"As you wish, young master!" Chad agrees without hesitation. He even has a glimmer of excitement in his eyes.

"All right," Lucian says as he hops on his electric bike behind him and rides away.

In fifteen minutes, Lucian arrives at Silverlight Microsoft Company. In normal circumstances, he would have taken his time to admire the opulent structure, but there are so many people in front of the gate.

They are all clad in corporate attire making it easy for him to realize that they must be the company's workers.

His eyes sparkle with a sharp glint. They must be expecting their new boss; me!

He parks his bike in a small empty spot, gets off, and walks toward the gate, swerving through the crowd.

They don't appear to realize he's their boss based on their expressions. He is pleased. Chad does an excellent job! Now, he only needs to find the general manager.

As he gets to the gate, he makes to enter.

"Hold it right there, punk! Where do you think you are going? Do you think this a company any dick, tom, or harry can enter?!" A loud arrogant hoarse voice bellows and a pot-bellied middle-aged man dashes over to him and roughly pushes him away from the gate.
