Chapter 14

“No way,” Camille laughed but the laugh came out more bitter than she expected and she pressed a hand over her mouth to stiffle the emotions.

The woman who turned to look at her looked nothing like the Mary Lynn she knew. The woman who had had a face like a Barbie doll that was brought too close to a fire was unrecognizable from the face she looked into now.

Gorgeous long lashes framed baby blue eyes. A button nose sat regally in the center of her face. Soft pink lips rested below it, stretched as though they were made for smiling. Her black hair fell in black, shiny, soft waves that framed her heart shaped face.

“No way!” Camille barked out with laughter as Kimberly joined her. “The ugly duckling got a makeover!”

Camille was glad to see that the smile was wiped of Mary Lynn’s face.

“I didn't even realize that it was her,” Kimberly said, voice soft with surprise. “How did you know?”

Camille could tell that Kimberly was getting swayed by the fact that Luthan had spent such money at her
