Chapter 53 - Arrival

"How much further is the town we're heading for? It feels like we've been on the road forever," Groaned Lilac restlessly, tapping her foot against the floor of the carriage over and over with an impatient, bored look on her face.

"It shouldn't be much farther now, we should be there within the next fifteen minutes or so. In fact, it shouldn't be too long before the border of the town comes into sight," Iris informed her, as she glanced back from the driver's seat.

Solas had been driving for a couple of hours, before Iris took over to give him a break. He's been sitting silently in the corner since then, I've honestly forgotten that he was even here several times.

"It's just a little past 5 PM now, we should have some time to explore to town and get a good idea of the layout before resting for a few hours and then patrolling the streets at night to try and cross paths with the kidnappers," Surmised Rex, as he took out a wrist watch with a broken strap from his pocket.
