Lucy's eyes widened bigger than she thought they could go. Her brain switched off and needed more than a moment to reboot. “Marriage?” She asked, wondering if she had heard him wrong.

“I mean, yeah. I know, it's weird and all but maybe, maybe it would put an end to those terrible rumors and if--if you'd like, that is. I mean, I'm not trying to rush you or anything but I actually did notice you all those years but… I… couldn't talk to you because… I don't know–I–”

Lucy cupped his face in her hands and pulled him close to her face to kiss him.

He stared surprisedly at her. He blinked. She stared back at him with a smile on her face. “It took us more than a decade to realize our feelings for each other. It isn't too early, it's just… our parents, what will they say?”

Andi smiled softly. “I actually wanted to find my dad before settling down or at least knowing what… where he is, if he's doing okay. Or if… if he's…”

She caressed his cheek. “Then we'll do just that.”
