Andi was silent. He didn't know what to say to the doctor. He was sure if he opened his mouth, no words would come out. Did he hear her right? Pregnant? Lucy? His woman?! Andi and Lucy got home that afternoon a little more earlier than Lucy's closing hour. Pearl Emerson was surprised to see both of them especially with Lucy looking quite unwell. "Did something terrible happen?" She worriedly asked as she led them to the living room.Andi shook his head with a smile. "No, it's the other way around actually." The three of them sat down on the sofas. Pearl Emerson took a seat next to Lucy while Andi sat on another chair. "Why does she look so glum and tired?" Breakfast was longer than usual, filled with smiles and laughter. Lucy had changed into her usual, baggy top with a skinny Jean and her hair effortlessly fell down her back in a beautiful way. Andi accompanied her for her dress fitting at the tailor's and the woman brought out the dress they had asked her to make before. It took quite an effort to get Lucy into the dress even though madam Natasha--the tailor--was sure she had taken the right measurements. The silver white dress was fitted at the top and flowed down like a princess' dress. The dress was armless and it revealed most of her back and her shoulders. It cupped tightly around her breast--maybe too tightly--unlike it was supposed to be. Madam Natasha stared confusedly at Lucy. "How quickly can a woman add? You seem to have gained more pounds than three weeks ago." Lucy chuckled awkwardly. "I guess so." Madam Natasha smiled. "Listen honey, I know of a woman who used to eat twice as much when she was nervous or stressed.

Lucy had changed back into her normal clothes and given her wedding dress to madam Natasha to adjust like she promised she would. Andi and Carla sat next to each other and Lucy and Taylor together on another chair. Lucy's every attention was focused on her husband to be and his new chatty company. The four of them strolled out of madam Natasha's mall, as Carla had confessed, she had a thing for blue and short things, judging from the blue mini skirt she was putting on. So she purchased a few blue things and some mini that weren't blue but beautiful to her eyes. Andi had insisted on paying for her purchase which he did even though she kept declining in. Standing by his car, Lucy stopped next to him and Carla with Taylor stood opposite the couple. A smile crept on Carla's face and the holes in her cheek deepened, several shopping bags in her hand. Lucy stepped back with a sigh. "Don't take too long, I'll be in the car." She turned to walk away but Andi gripped her hand. With a smile, she tiptoed and kissed his lips. "She needs to move on and she'll never do that if you don't open her eyes to reality."She slipped out of his hold and went into the car. Carla looked as furious as ever, but she smiled at Andi. "I am really sorry for all of this mess, I'll give you some time but not too much time." She glared at Taylor. "You had better meet me in the car in the next five minutes!" She spat out, not caring that Andi would hear. She turned and walked away. Andi sighed. "Why would you care to hear that from me? The drive home was quick. Andi and Lucy went back to his house together to go over a few things for their wedding. As expected, his mother had gone out to see her friends but he was not angry because she had spent so much time locked up in the hospital that if she decided to spend the next few years going out and traveling even.
