∆∆4: Kicked out

[

"I can't believe this... How can this happen to my family?" Andi asked, tears welled up in his eyes.

Taylor took his hands in hers. "I am so sorry that you have to go through this. I don't know what happened but I know you'll be able to fix it all somehow. I promise you, I'll never love another man and I'll always be by your side." She promised.

Even though his world was falling apart, he was happy to have such a woman as his wife.

She smiled at him weakly before wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him into a comforting embrace.

The memory of her promise to him resurfaced in Andi's mind as tears flowed down his cheek.

Of all the people that turned their backs on him, he was faced with the worst betrayal yet. "Taylor?" He called her name just to be sure.

In his mind, he had imagined yelling out her name and forcefully pulling her apart from the man she was kissing but all his limbs were weak and his lungs were sore.

She broke free from the kiss and turned to face him. Her eyes widened with surprise but not for more than a second. "Oh, Andi, what are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be working the party?" She asked so casually that it made Andi cringe.

"What am I doing-- what are you doing here?!" He yelled out angrily. "And who is this jerk! What-- what is the meaning of this?"

"Will you quiet down already or are you trying to give me an ear bleed?!" Taylor, for the first time ever, yelled out at him.

Andi was taken aback by her response but that was not important right now. "What is this? Shouldn't you be apologizing to me?"

"Apologize?" She snorted a laugh. "Who the hell do you think you are? You are not Andi freaking Emerson anymore, you're just a filthy rag trying to rub off on me and my family. Eating all our leftovers like the poor rat that you are." She glared daggers at him as she spoke.

He wanted to speak but actions spoke louder than words and action he would take. "You're not making any sense, come with me and we'll talk about this." He grabbed her by the wrist to pull her away from the stranger that was holding her waist and she struggled to free herself from his tight grip.

"Is that any way to treat a lady now, uh?" The stranger grabbed Andi's wrist but the next thing he felt was the pain of his nose breaking.

Andi had thrown a quick left hook that sent thick red blood trailing down his face but he wasn't done there. It would be a duel to the finish.

Ignoring Taylor's scream of protest, Andi kept showering the stranger with punches until the man overpowered him and punched back so hard that Andi fell to the ground.

Kneeling atop of him, the stranger continued to throw punches while Andi remained defenseless with his back on the ground.

Taylor's scream caught the attention of some patrolling security and they rushed to the scene to help.

The two buff men pulled the fighters apart but only pinned Andi down like he was some criminal.

He had expected Taylor to tell them to release him but she ran to her cheating accomplice and threw her arms around him.

"Justin, are you okay? Did you get hurt much?" She asked with worry glistening in her eyes.

"No my love, I'm alright." Justin responded, adjusting his clothes properly.

Andi was speechless. Why was she showing love to the strange man instead of her own husband?

Hatred burned in her eyes as she glared at him. He was grateful when she ordered the security to raise him to his feet but it turned out it was only so she could send a resounding slap across his face.

"Taylor..." He muttered her name in shock.

"You fool! How dare you harass the son of the prestigious Rivera family?!" She lashed out angrily with flared nostrils and wide open eyes.

Rivera, he would forever remember that name, even in his sleep. They were one of his family's rivals in business who hated them for having it all.

The Rivera's always found one way or another to sabotage their business and up until a few years back, he remembered his wife's hatred for the family as well.

But now she was smooching with their son and openly taking his side. Why?

"You good for nothing piece of trash! I should have never married you! If only I knew you would become such a burden! You really think you have any right over me? You must be a bigger fool than I thought you to be!"

Andi was left speechless where he was. He had hoped that day would never come, the day when his wife would turn her back on him as well. How much it pained him to live to see such a day.

"Your sight is getting on my nerves! Throw him out of this place at once! Look at you thinking you were something even after you became a useless live-in husband. You should just go kill yourself!" She spat out despicably at him with hatred burning in her eyes.

Andi was bruised and bleeding, weak and breathless, but he refused to leave just like that. After all, he was still her husband.

"No, no! Taylor you can't do this to me! I am your husband! Please I--I beg you!"

All his words were met with her deaf ears as she went back to her lover and hugged him tight.

Andi watched in anger and pain as they dragged him out into the streets. He swore to himself to get revenge on Justin and every one of them at the party.

'I'll make them pay...'
