048 - You Can Pay Me, Right?

Boris stares at the driver coldly, and the driver just awkwardly smiles due to the guilt. “I’m sorry! It never came to my mind that there would be someone who would do such a dirty and terrible thing,” utters the driver before he restarts driving the car.

“Is that what Georgina did to my mom?” asks Sofia impatiently.

“I never saw it. I only heard your dad having an argument with her in the toilet,” replies Boris.

“So, you didn’t see it.”

“I saw her holding the bottle for the humidifier in her hand. She was denying that time. But try to think about it! Why would she bring that bottle to the closet? Just bringing that bottle to the toilet is already so dangerous. That bottle can’t be contaminated either.”

“What did the doctor say?” asks Sofia.

“Your dad never shared this issue to outsiders, not even to the doctor. One thing for sure, your mom died with seriously infected lungs. And your dad kicked Georgina out soon after your mom died.”

“How could she…” grumbles Sofia as she starts rumm
