Chapter 1

Vernon Russell is just an ordinary office worker. He only has one hobby, which is gaming. He was even dubbed as the Strongest Invoker.

The game Vernon is playing is very unique. The Invoker's job is to design the character he summons. It can even determine the nature and character of the summoned creature. That's why Invoker jobs in games are so popular.

The game that Vernon is playing is holding a big event, namely a monster boss that cannot be defeated. Some even form a party of 100 people and still can't beat the monster boss.

At midnight of the third day Vernon played, Vernon was still trying to defeat the monster boss without a party. He only used the people he summoned, and after great effort, he finally defeated the monster boss.

Vernon laughed happily because he had finally defeated the monster boss. But suddenly, he felt sleepy and slowly closed his eyes in front of the computer.

"Your child was born healthy," the voice of a man Vernon currently heard.

"Thank you, doctor," said another man.

"Yes, your wife should rest first. I'll be leaving now if there's anything you can call me," the voice of the man who spoke first earlier.

"Yes, thank you, doctor," said another man.

"Father, look here, our child is born healthy," said the voice of a woman who seemed to be very close to Vernon.

"Yes, our child was born healthy," the man said.

"Then have you thought of his name," the woman said.

"How about we name Vernon Vernon Russell," the man said.

"Yes, it's a good name," the woman said.

"Who's talking?" said Vernon frantically, but he realised he couldn't speak.

Vernon slowly opened his eyes and looked around. Looking around, Vernon realised he seemed to be in a house. A woman with long, flowing black hair was looking at him happily. There was also a man with short black hair and a strong-looking body looking very happy at Vernon.

Vernon slowly tried to move his hand.

"Whose hand is this?" said Vernon in surprise when he saw a small hand in front of him.

"Wait, isn't this my hand? I'm back to being a baby."

Vernon tried to scream in surprise, but the sound that came out of him was only a baby's whimper.

"Don't cry, don't cry," the woman said frantically as she saw Vernon crying.

"Wait a minute, look at this father's face..." said the man standing near them from earlier, trying to comfort Vernon by showing a face that changed into a strange shape.

Looking at the man's face, Vernon laughed because the man's face was made to be very strange. Seeing the smiling Vernon, the two couples began to calm down a little.

Nine years have passed since Vernon came into this world.

Vernon is currently sitting near a large farm and reading a book. In this world, Vernon was born into an ordinary family. His father was an ordinary farmer in this village, while his mother was a seamstress. Vernon sometimes helped his father work in the fields. Then, when all was done, Vernon would rest and read his father's old book.

Vernon is currently in one of the villages on the Osud Continent. Five kingdoms are on the Osud Continent; Vernon is in the Eisenbar Kingdom. The Eisenbar Kingdom is famous for its strong soldiers and large bear-like bodies.

In this world, what Vernon was most interested in were witches. Anyone who comes from Earth wants to be able to use magic. Moreover, Vernon often plays games and becomes a wizard.

On the Osud Continent, a wizard academy was much more powerful than the five kingdoms. However, the Academy of Magic is not interested in managing the population and kingdoms. The wizards are only interested in experiments and research that make them become powerful or increase their power.

In this world, the most powerful is not a soldier or other occupation but a witch with the most powerful power. Even a level 7 junior witch can destroy a city with a single magic spell. Therefore, even the royal family would not offend a witch.

According to some books that Vernon read, the power of witches is divided into five stages. Each stage has nine levels, from low to high, starting from the apprentice witch stage, junior witch stage, senior witch stage, expert witch stage, and legendary witch stage. Of the nine stages, the junior wizard stage 1 is the weakest, while the junior wizard stage 9 is the strongest among the junior wizards.

But very few people can become witches. Only those who have a talent for certain elements can become witches. The elements of magic are divided into 10: fire, water, earth, wind, lightning, plants, light, darkness, Invoker and dimension. A person is usually only suited to one element, but some talented people can be suited to two or more elements. Mages can only use elemental magic that matches their element. For example, a person who is suited to the fire element can only use fire magic and cannot use other magic.

But people who match even just one element are very rare. According to the book Vernon read, among a hundred thousand people, only one person matched at least one element. Meanwhile, the Eisenbar Kingdom had a population of approximately one billion people. So in the Eisenbar Kingdom the number of witches is around 10,000 people. Even then, not all of the selected witches can become junior witches. Most of them only remain at the level of apprentice witches.

Because of the rarity of witches and their powerful powers, witches in this world are highly respected. Even kingdoms want to recruit junior witches in exchange for great wealth and noble titles.

Therefore, Vernon decided to become a wizard. Soon, he would be ten years old, and every child who was ten years old would be sent to the nearest city to be tested if they had a match with the elements. If they match the elements, they will be selected to enter the wizard academy.

In another month the tests for 10-year-olds begin. Vernon will have his tenth birthday in less than half a month. Therefore, Vernon could take the test this year. Vernon was very confident that he would most likely become a wizard; after all, everyone taken to another world would have their benefits, such as the system. Vernon thought he might also have his system, such as controlling multiple elements at once or even all.

While still reading the book about witches, which he read most often, Vernon said, "I can't wait for it."
