Chapter 205: Failed Strategy

Leander eventually stepped out of the Westport Business Center, the cool air hitting his face as he took a deep breath. He had just humiliated Anton and his team, and now it was time to move on to other matters. As he walked toward his car, his phone buzzed in his pocket. Glancing at the screen, he saw Dorian’s name flash across. Without hesitation, he answered.

“Leander, we need to talk,” Dorian’s voice came through, tense and hurried.

Leander frowned slightly. “What’s going on?”

“It’s Camila. I think… I think you were right about her. I didn’t want to believe it, but something happened. Can you come over?”

Leander didn’t ask for more details. The urgency in Dorian’s voice told him enough. “I’m on my way,” he replied, getting into his car and heading straight to Dorian’s mansion.

As Leander drove, he thought back to his last conversation with Dorian about Camila. Dorian had defended her, convinced she was genuine. Leander had been skeptical, but he didn’t push the issue too hard. He
