Arthur and Brandon ran until they reached a towering cliff, leaving them no choice but to look back at the slowly advancing wolf pack. The beasts were taking their time, encircling them, as if trying to mount some sort of mental pressure on them.

“Fuck, it’s a dead end!” Arthur cursed, staring down to see just how deep the drop was, a shiver ran through him as he caught a glimpse of the sheer height.

Brandon, who was beside him, conjured a small stone in his hand, making both Arthur and the wolves think he was about to throw it at them.

But they were all shocked when he instead aimed his hand toward the cliff and tossed the stone down, causing him abs Arthur watched its descent, after about twenty seconds when it reached the bottom, both Arthur and Brandon exchanged anxious glances.
