Alec wore a look of surprise because, no matter what he had imagined, Knight being knocked out of the Beast Forest was never one of the possibilities running through his mind. Alec opened his eyes and stared at the four figures before him, hearing their gasps as they returned to consciousness. After they were fully awake, the first thing they did was remove the small branch of wood that had pierced part of their bodies, causing a trickle of blood to flow from the wounds. However, within seconds, the injured areas began to heal since these weren’t critical injuries, and their high realm meant that such minor bruises and wounds typically didn’t last long. Alec didn’t want to waste any more time and quickly explained the two available upgrade options for the stone golem to Agnes. Though the paths had different costs, but Alec didn’t feel the need to burden her with those petty details as he could afford it and now they could enter the beast forest she could work back that amount for him with the same golems. He simply believed she had the right to choose the path her golem would follow.And Agnes chose for Alec to pick different paths for both golems, making him nod in approval, as that was exactly what he had in mind. After Alec finished drawing the runes on the first stone golem, its body began to shine golden light, though not as brightly as when he used the system to automatically evolve his golems. But still, it indicated that the real evolution process was commencing, as it started to glow and levitate. Observing this development, Alec quickly moved to the second golem; as he didn’t want to waste any more time. Delaying at such a crucial moment could be fatal and lead to the destruction of both golems, so he hurriedly added the finishing touches to the second stone golem, causing it to levitate into the air also and emit a similar radiant light like the first. Once the rune engraving was complete, Alec felt a bit fatigued and opened his status tab to check his remaining mana.“Shit!” Alec cursed as he saw what little mana remained after the time-consuming engravings. He had tried his best to ensure that Agnes would receive nothing short of perfection in the breakthrough of her golems.

In the end, Alec successfully helped Agnes evolve all five of her golems, before collapsing onto his back with a loud thud that echoed around them.Agnes squealed and rushed toward the new forms of the three golems Alec had just worked on.
