The next day, Alec stepped out of his room only to find the main room completely empty, this was a surprising development; as he had never encountered a time when the space felt so deserted.

Curious, he closed his eyes and attempted to use his mental energy to probe for any hidden presence, perhaps planning a surprise for him.

Unfortunately, the other room's barrier blocked any mental power interference, regardless, he was able to confirm that no one was there.

Determined to find someone, he made his way to the training room as he was sure he would meet either Lucas or Brandon there.

When Alec opened the door, he was taken aback to see everyone gathered inside, except for the instructors, Selene, and the Dean.

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as everyone battled, clearly venting their energy, although they couldn’t see it, but every time Alec used his Inspect skill on them, he noticed just how they were progressing even if it was little percentage.

He understood that the cult

Just when the team thought they had seen it all, Alec revealed bundles of Tier 4 random spell cards he had been saving. He didn’t have much use for them, considering he was far more powerful than a Tier 4 Mage, thought the powers of the spell card can reach Tier 5 battle powers due to the beast coming from the beast forest but Alec still didn't really care about them as he had other ways to deal with his opponents. However, the same couldn’t be said for the rest of his team; most of them were still weak and in the early stages of their development. And Alec believed that if they had the chance to cast an extra spell for less mana, they wouldn’t hesitate to take it.With the thought that these spells were significantly stronger than those of a Tier 4 mage brought a sly smile to Alec’s face, and he couldn’t wait to see the surprise on the faces of their next opponents, when they face such unexpected attacks. Normally, he was hesitant to bring out the random spell cards, but they res

They all followed Alec into his room as he locked the door behind them, ensuring it was secured properly. He then instructed them to sit down, forming a semi-circle with him at the center.“What I’m about to show you, or where I’m about to take you, has to do with one of the special abilities I’ve awakened, because of how powerful I find this ability, I’ve kept it a secret all this while.”“But now, you are my only family here in the competition and you need my help, so I don’t think this is the time for me to hold back on any of you, just know that my ability must remain a secret; it should never be disclosed by any of you.”“Because the day that happens, it means you’ve betrayed me, and I will cease any form of relationship with you, is that clear?” Alec asked, his seriousness palpable as they exchanged shocked glances. After considering his words and the gravity of how he described his powers, they composed themselves, realizing they had no reason to betray Alec. It was only after Alec had pushed them into the Beast Forest that he realized he hadn’t thoroughly considered the consequences of tossing them in, as for instance, he was quite uncertain about how the reincarnation process truly worked. From what the system spirit had just explained, it was clear there was a significant difference between him and them; as he was the main owner of the amulet, while they were brought into the Amulet space due to external factors. This left Alec unsure whether their consciousness would return to their bodies if they died in the Beast Forest, as he pondered about this, he felt deep down that it wasn’t possible for them to actually perish in the first level of the Beast forest as the strongest beast there has a Tier 3 realm.Although the beasts were stronger than their current levels, but his gang had all reached Tier 4 Mage status, and Alec believed that if they worked together, they would be able to survive inside the forest. However, weighing variou

Alec wore a look of surprise because, no matter what he had imagined, Knight being knocked out of the Beast Forest was never one of the possibilities running through his mind. He hadn’t even realized that one could access the Black void Space after entering the Beast Forest, because once he entered, he fought until either his time ran out or he was killed, both of which always resulted in his consciousness being transported back to his body. This meant that he thought there was no way back after entering the Beast Forest all this while, whereby there might have been a way. With many questions swirling in his mind, Alec couldn't help but move closer to Knight, who looked pale and exhausted.“Without omitting anything, tell me exactly what happened to you in the Beast Forest!” Alec demanded, staring directly at Knight not even caring if he was still tired or not.“Okay!” Knight nodded, trying to catch his breath.---#Beast ForestAgnes cautiously walked through the forest, initially

“So what you’re telling me is that you were killed just a few seconds ago, and the next thing you know, you’re being forced out of the Beast Forest back into this void space?” Alec asked Knight, who had just finished recounting his encounter.Knight had gone from being randomly spawned among a full pack of beasts to fighting until he was eventually eliminated, it was a short and intense story. “Yes!” Knight replied, nodding his head. “Hmm,” Alec said, falling into deep contemplation as he considered various options to explore. “Well, immerse yourself in that pool over there, it might not have a significant effect on you, but you should be able to recover to some extent, i want you to try entering the door again just for experimentation purposes!” Alec gestured toward the Mana pool at the side, which emitted an ethereal glow. “Okay!” Knight agreed, dragging his tired self toward the pool and submerging himself. Just as he dove in, Agnes was unexpectedly thrown out of the Beast

Arthur and Brandon ran until they reached a towering cliff, leaving them no choice but to look back at the slowly advancing wolf pack. The beasts were taking their time, encircling them, as if trying to mount some sort of mental pressure on them. “Fuck, it’s a dead end!” Arthur cursed, staring down to see just how deep the drop was, a shiver ran through him as he caught a glimpse of the sheer height.Brandon, who was beside him, conjured a small stone in his hand, making both Arthur and the wolves think he was about to throw it at them. But they were all shocked when he instead aimed his hand toward the cliff and tossed the stone down, causing him abs Arthur watched its descent, after about twenty seconds when it reached the bottom, both Arthur and Brandon exchanged anxious glances. “Hell no! There’s no way I’m going down like that. I’d rather be torn apart by wolves in fighting than jump to my death from this height. I can’t even imagine the state my body would be in after such

Alec opened his eyes and stared at the four figures before him, hearing their gasps as they returned to consciousness. After they were fully awake, the first thing they did was remove the small branch of wood that had pierced part of their bodies, causing a trickle of blood to flow from the wounds. However, within seconds, the injured areas began to heal since these weren’t critical injuries, and their high realm meant that such minor bruises and wounds typically didn’t last long. Alec watched them closely, finally confirming that it was only upon his death that they would be forced out of the Amulet world space. He had clearly entered the second level of the Beast Forest to hunt down some Tier 5 demonic beasts. He had initially been searching for a Golden Horned Drake to continue the progression rate for his second soul demonic beast, but while he was on the hunt for a Tier 5 Golden Horned Drake demonic beast, the Tier 6 Golden Horn Drake that had killed him last time was also

Alec didn’t want to waste any more time and quickly explained the two available upgrade options for the stone golem to Agnes. Though the paths had different costs, but Alec didn’t feel the need to burden her with those petty details as he could afford it and now they could enter the beast forest she could work back that amount for him with the same golems. He simply believed she had the right to choose the path her golem would follow. And Agnes chose for Alec to pick different paths for both golems, making him nod in approval, as that was exactly what he had in mind. Because if it were him, he would want to have both the Stone Guard Golem and the Stone Gunner Golem too, because he believed that leaning too far in one direction would ruin any chance of creating synergy between offense and defense he wanted her to have. From the names alone, Alec guessed that the Gunner Golem would focus on attack, while the Guard Golem would prioritize defense. He figured that if Agnes were forced

The pain Alec was feeling refused to subside, stirring genuine concern within him, the pain of breaking through wasn’t meant to be this consistent, nor was it supposed to linger for so long. After all, this wasn’t his first time undergoing a breakthrough, it was meant to be more of a refreshing feeling and if there was one thing Alec understood, it was the clear signs when something wasn’t right. At this point, he was certain the pain wasn’t coming from his overflowing mana battering his muscles and flesh as it forced his physique to evolve.Without wasting another moment, Alec swiftly delved into his inner self, stepping into his microcosmic universe, the instant he arrived, the source of his problem became clear, at the very center of his microcosmic world was a small, radiant ball of light, steadily devouring specks of surrounding light that drifted near it. Orbiting around it were the three powers Alec had awakened, revolving like their own unique stars, though even among th

In a peculiar way, Hunter emanated an even more dangerous aura, while the ten iron golems beside him resembled smaller versions of Hunter, with the exception of the left-hooked hand, as they mostly welded broad swords and had a long iron chain strapped to their waist. As for Magnito, Alec was at a loss for what to call him, perched on

With all that in mind, Alec moved toward the second branch, placing his hand against it, this one held a single, massive pod — housing the corpse of a Tier 7 mutated zombie.Because the branch was still at Level 2, it could only comfortably refine mid-rank lifeforms, anything beyond that would strain the branch’s capacity, trigger penalties, and limit it to refining a single corpse at a time. That was the only reason one body occupied a branch meant to hold twenty.[> Pay 100,000 System Points to harvest plant (Y/N) ]Alec, who had been bracing for an increase of at least another ten thousand points, blinked in surprise when the fee landed squarely at a hundred thousand, the thought of how much he was spending now made it feel like a headache was creeping into his skull, though in truth, he was fine. He just wasn’t used to parting with such a large number of System Points so casually.Despite the risk of overburdening the branch, Alec had made this decision for one simple reason,

In the next split second, Alec found himself in the amulet space, which seemed on the verge of breaking through to another stage now that he had reached the peak of the Tier 5 Mage Realm, he could sense it, the interior of the amulet world was pulsating with energy, eager to expand. Since it was connected to him, every time he advanced to a new realm, the amulet world also underwent improvements, and the most noticeable being the increase in its spatial dimensions. However, these developments were not part of Alec’s current plan, so upon entering the amulet world, he immediately summoned all his main golems while cloaking himself in the Infernal Mantle set. Although Alec often arrived in the amulet world wearing nothing but pants, with his spirit equipment tattoos glowing around his body like a totem tattoo, but he still wasn’t entirely comfortable with this transformation. Consequently, he seized every opportunity to don the Infernal Mantle set for modesty, looking around, he re

With the addition of these three breaking into the Tier 6 realm, Alec now had five of his main golems at that level, leaving only three still stuck at Peak Tier 5 realm. He then ordered them to summon their minion golems and quickly noticed something, Oni no longer needed dead bodies to summon his Oni Shinigami army. However, there was still a minor issue, while Oni could call on his existing Shinigami, he definitely still needed fresh corpses to create new ones, and at the moment, he only had five subordinates, remnants of the old group, the difference this time was that every single one of them had advanced to Low Tier 5, as their limits of Peak Tier 4 realm had shattered the moment their leader stepped into Tier 6 realm. Though they were still recognizable as the red and blue Oni Shinigami reapers, they now wore proper body armour, and their spirit weapons seem to have been significantly upgraded to match their new realm. As for Butcher, his Storm Knights were a legion of iron go

  • The New Quasi Lords 2.

Alec looked at all three of his newly evolved golems with a hint of surprise, especially at the Hive Queen. He’d had a premonition that they would all begin to revert to a more humanoid form at Tier 6 with another form due to how Legion and Titan had turned out, but the Hive Queen’s transformation still caught him off guard. He hadn’t expected any of his golems to take on such a striking form, and not wanting to stare too long at her beautiful face, he turned to Oni instead.Oni now stood at about 6’5”. His body had slimmed down into a leaner frame, though it still unmistakably bore the weight and presence of a golem, as during his evolution, Alec remembered purchasing a unique set of black stones from the system shop that had now fused with Oni’s body, giving him an entirely black form, like a living statue in dark armour. On his back floated a levitating black ring of light, with six different types of blade handles protruding from its circumference like embedded scabbards. His son left the room and locked the door behind him.“Erm... City Lord,” the researcher began cautiously, “as I said on the first day, there’s absolutely nothing beneficial about hoarding that many zombie corpses.
