A bright green glow illuminated a particular room in the building where the Vajra Academy was staying at the Grand Arena buildings.

The room layout mirrored that of the War God Academy, albeit on a much grander scale.

As the green light receded the group of masked mages from the Dark guild appeared, as they entered, they came face-to-face with the Head Abbot of the Vajra academy, who is engaged in conversation with the monk who served as their team coordinator.

“What is the meaning of this? Why have you returned here?” the head Abbot demanded, his expression betraying an uncommon anger.

“Oh, my sincerest apologies for intruding, I assure you, it was entirely unintentional, my comrades and I found ourselves in a tight spot and needed a place to hide until the sentry guards passed by,” the figure in the middle, wearing a skeleton mask, responded in a teasing manner.

“You insolent fool! How dare you speak so lightly about matters of su

[> High Tier Spell – Pyramid of Eternal Sands <]The moment he cast the spell, the sand swirling around him acted as a core for the spell he had just cast, as countless grains of sand lifted into the air, and even the earth-element particles scattered through the atmosphere were drawn together to form the spell. In an instant, a colossal pyramid of sand formed in midair, sealing both the Patriarch and the City Lord inside it with little light piercing through. It completely blocked the view of everyone outside, only the most experienced mages present were able to force their mental energy into their eyes, using their heightened perception to glimpse what was happening within the massive structure. He had not cast it to hide the outcome of the battle, he had cast it to preserve as much of the Gordons’ land as possible. George knew he was about to unleash everything he had, and the resulting clash would be nothing short of catastrophic, almost nuclear in scale.Meanwhile, he also knew

The moment Alistair rose to his feet, Alec struck, he had been waiting patiently with his blade already raised, and in a single motion, he cut him down.Despair was written all over Alistair’s face as the blade cut him, but even his resentment could no longer change anything, at this point, his fate had already been sealed. He was going to die, whether he accepted it or not.Alec dragged his blade free from Alistair’s body, which had been split apart, and finally lifted his gaze to survey the rest of the battlefield. The mid-rank battle was as good as concluded. The Captain-ranked golems had completely suppressed the Tier 6 mages, and for the top Captains like Bulwark and Number One, who were already at the Peak of Tier 6 realm, it had been even easier for them. As they had been able to dispatch their opponents so effortlessly that it almost looked as if no effort had been required at all from them. The Tier 7 battlefield was also nearing its end, due to the fact that both Titan and

Swiftly, Alec read through the intentions behind both Tier 7 mages’ movements. They were trying to gang up on him and end the fight quickly, yet he remained far too relaxed, as if he didn’t even take them seriously. The tattoos of the Infernal Mantle began to materialize across his body, he knew he needed the additional stats to overpower them both.In a flash, the Infernal Mantle clad him in a display that was almost fashionable, his hair flowing freely, the red strands deepening in color while the black and brown were forced toward the tips, giving him a fierce and imposing presence.Within a second, his Spirit Equipment set was fully summoned, it wasn’t just fast, it showed how deeply connected he had become to his equipment. The left hand that had been trembling slightly as it held the Changdao hilt which restrained Alistair’s claw suddenly stabilized. At the same time, the wide blade of the second Dragonmir clansman reached him. Alec raised his right hand, which was now covered

  • Concluding Things 2.

With the City Lord as the center, a two-hundred-meter domain unfolded, the surroundings transformed into the image of a dense forest, overflowing with plant life and ancient vitality.Behind him, a gigantic tree manifested, its roots digging deep into each other in midair as if anchoring reality itself. But that wasn’t all. A plant dragon also took form behind him, coiling around the massive trunk as though it had always belonged there. When the City Lord said he was going to give it his all, he truly meant it.In high-rank battles, mages usually fought using only their own combat prowess and elemental control, rarely did they summon their mental images to fight along with them, that was because manifesting one’s mental image was equivalent to exposing one’s soul power directly to battle. And matters involving the soul were extremely dangerous, unlike physical injuries, damage to the soul did not only affect one’s current strength but also crippled future potential. Mental strength w

  • Concluding Things.

He knew very well that the moment one Tier 8 mage escaped, it would trigger a chain reaction, and many of the Tier 7 mages would follow suit and abandon the battlefield, the situation was already bleak for his side, and if that collapse began, he had no doubt that everything would fall apart completely.“Where the fuck do you think you’re going?” the City Lord shouted as he drew his blade, however before he could advance any further, the Gordons Patriarch was already before him, twisting and turning in midair while swinging both his katana and his wakizashi, in skillful motions.Around the Patriarch, small stone pebbles floated in the air, each coated in a transparent, bubble-like layer of Qi. At intervals, they shot forward like bullets, despite being nothing more than tiny stones, they carried terrifying power, after being amplified by George’s Qi.One of those pebbles had already struck him earlier, knocking him unconscious and giving the Patriarch the opening to cast a spell that

At this moment, while the mid-rank battlefield had descended into complete chaos, the high-rank battlefield had fallen into an eerie standstill, as no one knew how to move forward anymore. The high-rank mages within the City Lord’s forces shifted uneasily, confusion written across their faces as the situation turned grim far faster than they had anticipated.“Leave that one to me,” Alec said pointing at one of the Tier 8 mages present. From his left hand, the Eclipse Fenwolf leapt out and appeared beside him. At first, it was as though a painting were melting into the air, white and black colors dripping downward like liquid ink. But once the flowing paint reached a certain point in midair, it began to take shape, slowly, it became more defined, more real.Although it still didn’t possess physical flesh, but even in its soul form it looked far more alive, it snarled, its gaze locked onto the Tier 8 mage hired from the Dark Guild, the reason was simple.Alec had chosen him as its oppo
