Two weeks had passed since Alec's grandfather discovered his mage abilities, He was now hailed as the prodigy of the Gordon family, surpassing the other dual element kids who had taken a whole week to reach Tier 1 mage status.

The younger generation of the family was showing promise, with numerous young mages emerging.

While some of the new mages grew complacent, taking a break from their training, Alec remained diligent.

Not a single day went by where he did not dedicate himself to his combat training during the day and honing his golem-making skills at night.

To acknowledge his achievements, his grandfather bestowed upon him a space pouch as a gift, though Alec suspected it was just another indulgence from the old man.

Alec's hard work and dedication during training paid off handsomely, His basic combat skills soared to level five, a remarkable accomplishment in such a short span of time.

[Basic combat skills -lvl 5( 45/500)]

He also improved his golem creation skill and was now able to create seven other golems apart from Titan.

Even though there wasn't a level indicator to showcase his progress, he could feel a significant improvement in his ability to craft sturdy golems compared to when he first started as a mage.

Furthermore, he discovered that the system had the capacity to communicate, but it seemed reluctant to reach out due to the energy it consumed.

The system informed him that every question he asked would cost him 20 mana, regardless of whether or not it could provide an answer.

This revelation left Alec feeling uncertain about trusting the system, but he ultimately decided to take advantage of the system's rapid power growth and asked a few questions that had been lingering in his mind.

With a determined mind, he opened his status tab and began to inquire about his burning questions.

He had leveled up to level 2 , thanks to all the training and dedicated meditation he had been practicing.

"What is your purpose?" Alec asked, curiosity filling his voice.

[ X : To make the host the strongest mage alive, that's my main purpose. ]

the system responded, its words resonating in Alec's mind.

Alec checked his mana, only to realize that it had reduced by 20.

"Hmm, it seems the system wasn't lying about the 20 mana per question," Alec thought to himself.

"Who created you?"

Alec asked the question that had been bothering him, He believed that he might be a plaything of some God, someone who was just watching him like an experiment.

[×: Question invalid!!!, All you need to know is that I have transferred with you to help you become the strongest mage.]

"Hmm, another waste of 20 mana,"

Alec said to himself when he realized that his mana had reduced to 60 from 80, as the system still failed to answer his question.

"Well, I guess that solves all I need to know about the system, I'll have to level up quickly and see if it finally answers my questions," Alec said to himself.

"It's an attack! All mages, report for duty at the gates!"

a middle-aged man shouted as he rushed towards the family gates.

"Hmm, it seems my first battle is about to start," Alec said to himself.

He quickly allocated his available points into agility to improve his running speed.

The moment he started running straight towards the gates, he noticed that he was much faster than normal, He caught up with the rest of the family members who were also making their way to the city gates.

"Alec!" He turned back to see Arthur and the rest of the younger generations lagging behind.

He slowed down a little so they could catch up.

"What is it?" Alec asked immediately.

"Have you heard any information about the attack?"

Arthur asked, but Alec shook his head to indicate that he had no idea about the attack.

"Even better, I have some information," Arthur said with a smirk.

"Just spill it, dumbass," Alec said impatiently.

"Okay! I got a little info from an older guard passing by, It was said that a level 5 zombie horde is heading straight for our city," Arthur explained.

"But how is that possible? I thought zombie hordes only occurred during a Blood Moon, and it's definitely not nighttime, let alone a blood moon," Alec questioned.

"Now, that's where you're mistaken, man, Not all zombies are able to return to their dimensions after an attack, So those who are left gather around the highest-level zombie, waiting for the next blood moon to join the next attacking force," Arthur clarified.

"However, occurrences like this are very rare since most high-level zombies escape quickly when they realize the portal is closing, But this time, a level 5 zombie wasn't able to escape when the city lord cut off its right arm, leaving it lagging behind, Now that it has recovered its strength, it's seeking revenge," Arthur explained all the details to Alec.

"Hmm, so we're up against a Tier 5 zombie Commander ?" Alec asked.

"No, it's not a zombie commander. It's a Tier 5 zombie brain monster, a mental type," Arthur clarified with a laugh.

"Hahaha, what did you think? That a zombie commander can lead a horde that would make the city lord call on the family clan mages? Don't make me laugh." Arthur said.

But Dragov wasn’t finished yet, a massive pair of dragon wings extended from his back, and his two front dragon horns grew slightly longer with them curving backward a little.“Now we shall continue from where we left off,” Dragov said, locking his gaze onto Alec.“Why does everyone from the Bloodline Academy talk so much? Let’s just fight it out!” Alec replied, dashing forward. Beside him, Titan moved in front, manifesting a long rectangular shield on his arm to take the lead against the now-taller Dragov.“Come!” Dragov shouted as he drew his fist back, channelling Qi energy into it, a dragon fist image materialized around his hand, enveloping it as he punched toward Titan. With his increased power, Dragov wasted no time and dashed toward Alec, this sudden move snapped Alec out of his relaxed demeanour, forcing him to act swiftly. Alec pulled his right hand from his pocket and quickly cast three layers of earth shields, each reinforced with a repulsive gravity effect, stacking them in front of himself as a defensive barrier. However, Dragov was unfazed by this move, and after closing the distance in an instant, he swung his massive, weighted sword at the shields. The moment the blade struck, cracks spiderwebbed across the first earth shield. In a split second, Dragov shattered the first shield and then the second and by the time his sword collided with the third shield, Alec had already reversed the gravity repulsion spell, redirecting its force outward to himself when he saw the effort to bounce Dragov back as ineffective. When Dragov’s sword hit the final shield, the combined gravitational force sent Alec hurtling backward. He quickly dug h

On the other side was Brandon, who had his greatsword stabbed into the ground to steady him, his upper body was completely bare, revealing his chiselled physique, a testament to years of rigorous weapon training and cultivation. His torn uniform lay in shreds, and blood streaked his torso. Behind Brandon was the Treant Golem that had been summoned, its wooden fingers were imbued with healing energy as they pressed into Brandon’s back. Though the healing process was slow, but the crowd could already see some of his wounds beginning to improve slightly. Soren, clinging desperately to hope, watched with mounting frustration as Brandon showed signs of recovery.
