Chapter 61

Blade drew a deep breath. “He looks so happy for someone who is cheating on his wife,” he said as he looked at Mr. Charles who held hands face to face with Nancy.

Blade sat at the far end of the church with Jack, watching as the couples exchanged vows.

Great dignitaries in New York City were all there to grace the occasion. It was no new thing because Charles was indeed an influential personality in town, so no one would expect less.

“Don't mind the silly idiot. A cheat getting married to a cheat—that was the same way Nancy cheated on me too. Funny enough, still with him. I am not too surprised that they accepted to marry each other so easily,” Jack commented, thankful for the shade he wore, which hid the underlying pain in his eyes. The past six days have been busy; all hands have been on desks as everyone, including Jasmine, has started putting their plans into action: the plan to get Mr. Charles' wife to ruin Nancy’s happy day.
