Chapter 63

Nancy was admitted to the hospital after she passed out.

The doctor was examining her that evening as she lay unconscious on the bed. As soon as the doctor removed the stethoscope from her chest, her father asked him, “How is my daughter feeling? Any improvement so far on her waking up?”

“From my examination, she will be awake before five minutes. The shock she had, accompanied by the early miscarriage she had, made her lose consciousness for this long. We should be thankful to God that the fetus is minimal and cell development has just begun in her womb. And again, the fact that you guys brought her right on time matters a lot too. If not, it wouldn't be as simple as we are discussing it.” The doctor explained.

“OK, doctor. Thank you so much; I will still be here and watch her while she wakes.”
