Asther Versus Rune III

Rune wasn’t fighting a regular peasant. In fact, Asther isn’t even comparable to any nobleman. He isn’t another chess player, nor is he a piece that could be found on the board.

Asther is death itself. He is the physical embodiment of the grim reaper. He has fought countless battles. Some of these even bringing him close to death’s doors. Yet always, always…this man would win.

He doesn’t quite understand it himself. How he’s still alive until his last moments on earth were he is even able to kill the assassins who came to end his life. Yet one thing is certain. That with all of Asther’s experiences in the battlefield, he has accumulated a kind of knowledge like no other.
