There is still another thing that Asther needs to do. This is something that doesn’t concern the group anymore. It focuses on only him and the problem that he has yet to overcome.Ever since he came to Jhinn, Asther wished for nothing more than to be an assassin. Considering that the world is relatively outdated compared to earth, Asther will have no other choice but to rely on old tools. Nevertheless, gaining the said job class would at least give him a kind of boost that he needs in order to move forward. However, this was never given to him. In fact, Asther got a job class that is entirely different from what he wanted. He got a necromancer job class. A job class that doesn’t require him to get close to the enemy nor to do the killings himself. Necromancers only rely on their summons, making these do everything for them. But Asther isn’t like this. That is the reason why he developed the close quarters combat that he uses alongside his summoning techniques. All for the sake of havi
[Weapon Name: Prototype][Weapon Type: Unknown][Range: 800m – 1000m][Durability: 1000/1000][Information: A weapon that is developed by a non-blacksmith. The ‘Prototype’ is the only one of its kind within Jhinn.][Information: The projectile used by the said weapon are referred to as bullets. These bullets contain fractured mana crystals inside all of them.][Information: Projectiles are shot by releasing a small portion of mana into the weapon. This will go straight to the cartridge where a bullet is loaded. Creating friction with the fractured mana crystal which would allow it to be released at high speed.]This is the weapon that came out after Asther made nine attempts at forging the prototype. He almost lucked out in making it but, the necromancer never lost hope. Even though he failed eight times despite perfectly raising the success chance of forging to 30% every time. This allowed him to retain his focus. And it reaped its reward with the ninth attempt. Giving him the weapon
The day that Asther made the Prototype is also the day he decided to test it out. There is no conflict with his allies in doing so because, Asther has already left them with something to while their time with. Hence, the teen is free to also do as he wishes; and that is exactly what he did.“Shadow Dive.”This is the first thing that Asther did. He already placed an undead to monitor the area that he’s going to use as a training ground. And no, it is not a monster nest within a forest. Rather, it is one that is located at the opposite side of where they are.Within the past month, it is actually Asther who has gained the most levels. In fact, he has already reached level 29 within this time. A couple more fights and he’d get himself to level 30. The required level for him to get his secondary job class. This information is already both obsolete and irrelevant however. Asther already claimed the missions that he needs to finish. The only problem is that it’s not yet time for him to acc
In a span not even reaching a single second, nothing else could be hear but the sound of gunshot and that of something ripping through the air. These sounds are not present so that someone could react to them. No. They are there to tell someone or something that, death has finally come. And it will not wait.It did not ring the bell to wait outside your doorstep. Because in the first place, death is not even waiting there. Death is already inside and his scythe has already been swung at your neck. That, is the perfect representation of what happened with Asther’s prototype. The bullet did its job and, hit the crack just as intended. Right at the middle where the mana core is supposed to be located. For three seconds, nothing happened to the golem. In fact, the other golems began to move in accordance to this sound. Making Asther think that the bullet wasn’t actually able to pierce right through. But he’s wrong. The golem, after another second passing, has finally fallen to the ground
[Congratulations! You have unlocked a new achievement!][Title: No Such Thing As Armor][Achievement Ranking: SSS+][Information: Achievement is attained after killing at least twenty high defense creatures within a span of twenty minutes.][Information: There are lower rankings to this achievement. These have already been bypassed since you have gone beyond them and have reached the peak of the achievement.]This notification popped up as soon as Asther cleared up all of the golems. Not a single one of this creature remained in the battlefield. Every single one of it fell to the grim reaper that is Asther. And this is only natural because, he finally has his hands on his scythe, the Prototype. It's clear enough for Asther not to ask his System about it anymore. In fact, there’s nothing about it that he needs to ask. It’s basically something that he reaped after taking down all of those golems. And judging by how he reached the peak of the achievement already, he’s guessing that he ha
At the current moment, Asther’s skills is divided into five major categories. Offensive skills which can be used to attack. There isn’t actually much in this category. In fact, there isn’t even any active skills that is within this category. Something which Asther only realized at that moment. As for the defensive skills, he doesn’t have much either. There are only a couple of them. There are only two of these in fact. Skills that he only acquired recently because of the dealings with the Ragencliffs. As for movement skills. Well, there is only a single skill in this category. The shadow dive active skill. A skill that allows him to swap places with one of his undead. However, even though he only has a single movement skill, Asther thinks that the flexibility of this skill is all that he needs and nothing more.Next there are the utility skills. And this is what Asther has in plenty. A skill that raises his accuracy. A skill that allows him to see through walls if he concentrates enou
[Skill Name: Skill Merger][Skill Type: Active][Mana Cost: 2000][Information: A skill that permits the combination of three skills at maximum. The new skill that would come out from the merge will have the characteristics of the skills that were used in the merging. However, the amount of similarity the new skill will have with the skills that would be used for the merging is completely random. Nothing can affect this.][Information: The new skill that comes out of the skill merging cannot be subject to a new merge any longer. Please choose the skills that you will merge with care.][Information: The spells that would be used for the merging would be automatically added once the caster thinks of these with assurance. The spells can also be taken down if there is a sudden change in mind. The skills will not merge as long as the caster doesn’t give the final order.]“Well, that’s problematic.” Asther said after reading all of the skill’s information. At first, he thought that this wou
The magic circle glowed as the three skills merged. Asther can still feel his body being drained but, at the same time, this is quickly being washed away by the items that he got after defeating Claire’s fiancé.The earrings that stored mana immediately released it. Replenishing Asther’s reserves that was forcefully taken in the blink of an eye due to the skill’s mana requirement. The magic circle continued to glow brighter. To the point that Asther needed to close his eyes. A strong force of wind also blew at the same time. This lasting for a couple of seconds before it finally disappeared alongside the light. Allowing Asther to see once again. His eyes focusing on the System screen that, displayed the skill that came out.[Skill Name: Odin’s Vision][Skill Type: Passive][Mana Consumption: None][Information: Upon entering combat, the user gains the ability to see silhouettes of his enemy. This serves as an omen; predicting the movement that the opponent would make in the next three
