Continuation of the Fight

The fight continued in the way that Asther expected. One by one, the great wolves fell to the might of Asther’s allies. This is caused by a lot of factors.

One is that these monsters have been completely taken by surprise. As creatures which pride themselves with their strength, the great wolves have never been in a position where they expected an ambush. They have always been on the attacking end and thus, what was happening to them was completely foreign.

This element of surprise is one of the things that could make the defenses of the great wolves crumble. In the first place, this same defense isn’t that great after all.

Second, there’s the fact that Asther’s undead is assisting his allies. With these being in the battlefield, it’s difficult for the monsters to properly attack Asther’s allies. This has caused a great problem for the group of wolves which are at a total loss on what they can do against the undead.
