The Prototype

In a span not even reaching a single second, nothing else could be hear but the sound of gunshot and that of something ripping through the air. These sounds are not present so that someone could react to them. No. They are there to tell someone or something that, death has finally come. And it will not wait.

It did not ring the bell to wait outside your doorstep. Because in the first place, death is not even waiting there. Death is already inside and his scythe has already been swung at your neck.

That, is the perfect representation of what happened with Asther’s prototype. The bullet did its job and, hit the crack just as intended. Right at the middle where the mana core is supposed to be located.

For three seconds, nothing happened to the golem. In fact, the other golems began to move in accordance to this sound. Making Asther think that the bullet wasn’t actually able to pierce right through. But he’s wrong.
