Chapter 9

“Wait wait.” Thomas undo the intention to attack.

“Why hasn't Javin attacked me? whereas now is a good chance to attack me when my strength is drained.”

Thomas finds something strange in Javin that throws away the chance to beat him.

“If it's Brian, Felix, or Tristan. They will definitely attack me all out to bring me down. Right, this is so strange.”

“Whatever it is, it's to my advantage. My strength has been replenished even a little. Now it's time to find answers to the strangeness of him not attacking me.”

Thomas makes a movement. He attacks from the left side of Javin. Thomas jumps while doing horizontal foot strikes.

The kick only hit the wind because Javin lowers his body and then jumps backward.

When stepping on the floor, Thomas’s feet press the floor. One push makes him fly forward fastly.

‘He's so fast!’ Javin looks worried.

Thomas's fist can be avoided by Javin even though it is half an inch away.

Thomas uses his hand as a landing. After that, his feet press the floor and then fly again.

Thomas's punch succeeded in hitting Javin. Javin don't have time to dodge and could only parry it. As a result, he is knocked backward.

Even so, Javin is still able to maintain his balance so he doesn't fall down.

Thomas doesn't stop attacking. He moves forward again at a faster pace. In an instant, he is in front of Javin.

“Upper cut!”

Thomas hit Javin's chin until his opponent's body is lifted and bleeding.

“Not done! One more again!”

Thomas turns his body to direct the heel for the last attack.

Javin is thrown and crashed into a tree beside the arena.

“Uhuk uhuk uhuk!”

Javin coughs while holding his stomach which was hit by Thomas.

“Javiiin!” Vivian screams worriedly. She immediately approaches Pres.

“Senior!”  Thomas also immediately approaches Javin. He realizes that the attack was strong enough to fly Javin's body away.

Vivian props Javin's body. She is so worried. Moreover, Javin's mouth bleeding. “Your mouth bleeds. Sara, please treat Javin immediately. He's injured.”

Sara immediately uses her ability to treat Javin. The green energy flows from her hand to Javin’s stomach.

“Thank Sara.” Javin says.

Javin eyes look at Vivian’s worried eyes. There isn’t sharp glare in Javin's eyes in front of Lia. His gaze is soft with a sweet smile.

“You're too worried. It's only a minor injured.”

“Don't lie. The proof is your mouth is bleeding.”

“Really. I'm not lying.”

“Be quiet! You're being treated.” Vivian pulls Javin's head into her cuddle.

“Warm!”

Javin enjoys Vivian’ cuddle. He doesn't care about the people around him who are looking at him.

“Senior. I’m sorry! Are you okay?”

“Hmm.”

Even Javin doesn't care about Thomas near him. He chases Thomas away with a hand gesture.

On the other side. The others are annoyed by Javin’s behavior. Javin becomes very different when he's making out and being serious.

“What's wrong with him? Why does he always forget around when making out? disgusting? Besides, why does Vivian always indulge in Javin’s embarrassing behavior?” Laura scoffs at Javin’ shameless behavior.

“Go there! You must help Sara treat Javin!” Raihana says to Laura.

“No!”

“Until now, Javin's behavior has left me speechless. He seems to have two personalities. He could be very serious with his sharp gaze, but he could also be very embarrassing like this.” Gary says. He has the same thought.

“He's more embarrassing than me.” Felix says.

“You guys are just as embarrassing. Useless.” Laura gives a sharp response.

“You were embarrassing. Why proud?” Tristan also give a sharp response.

“Woi, Tristan! Why are you joining in scorning me?”

From another side, Dixon gives instructions to Sena to choose the next fighter.

Sena nods. He understand what Dixon meant.

“Gary. You are the next fighter.”

“Okay,”

Gary walks into the arena. He shows a naughty attitude by walking while eating bananas.

“Pciu pciu pciu!” His expression is very annoying while pointing the banana at Thomas as if it is a gun.

‘This fight can't stop for too long. This is to prevent Thomas to recover. That was my goal to choose Javin in the previous fight because he has sharp and quick analytical skills even though he can only dodge. It's for the sake of this fight. I'll see how far you can survive, Thomas.’

Sena has determined the line-up of fighters from the beginning. He doesn't give Thomas a chance to win. That's also what Dixon meant to begin the next fight immediately.

In the arena, Thomas and Gary are already facing each other. Gary is still enjoying bananas with enjoy and an annoying face. Meanwhile, Thomas's breath was still going up and down rapidly and deeply.

“Get ready! Fight!”

Thomas begins moving first.

When Thomas approaches and will do punches, Gary still has fun eating bananas.

Gary can easily dodge that.

But Thomas already predicted it. He bend his hand and then directed his elbow to Gary’s head.

“What?”

Suddenly Thomas's body unbalanced.

Gery pushes Thomaas with his foot. Thomas's body bounced easily.

TAP TAP TAP

Even so, Thomas is still able to keep his body from falling down by using his hands as a toehold before standing again.

Thomas sees something that shouldn't be in the arena. “Banana peel?”

It turns out that Thomas lost his balance earlier because he slipped on a banana peel.

“Why did Senior throw away banana peel in the arena? It interferes with the fight.”

“So what? Is it not allowed?” Gary says with an annoying gesture and expression.

“But that's against the rules.”

Gary continues to eat bananas. Now he is picking his nose.

“Haven't you noticed the rules of fight?”

This time Gary moves forward. He moves around the arena throwing banana peels everywhere.

‘This is not true. This is cheating.’ Thomas is still confuses.

Gary now moves toward Thomas. He run while jumping to avoid the banana peels he had spread. His movements are agile.

Gary's punch is easily held by Thomas. Thomas grabs Gary's hand and then throws him another way.

Gary can land on the floor without stepping on banana peels.

Gary moves again. He runs to the left to begin the attack.

“Wait a minute, Senior. Explain this first. wait wait.”

“You're not as smart as I thought.”

Gary punches from the front. Of course Thomas can block it.

Gary takes one step to the right and then jumped slightly while doing a right-foot kick.

Thomas is pushed. He is forced to adapt his feet to the arena filled with banana peels. ‘Once I step on a banana peel, it would bother my balance because slipped.’

“Where are you looking, huh? I’m here.”

Gary was ready with his punch.

TAK

Thomas blocks the punch with left hand. Then Thomas counters with a right-hand punch.

“Haha. It turns out that your punch is very weak.”

Gary ducks over to dodge Thomas’s punch.

After that, he takes one step forward and put his foot behind Thomas and his hand on Thomas's chest.

“Game over!”

Gary pushes Thomas's chest while blocking Thomas's heels. That way Thomas won't be able to take a step back. He can be sure will fall.

Thomas's body is pushed down. Gary presses strongly.

‘No. I can't fall.’

“Huuaaa!”

Thomas forces his body to spin and then uses his hand as a toehold.

Thomas success to get away. He steps back taking distance from Gary.

‘Damn. What should I do? This Banana peels hinder my movement. Although the opponent's punches are weak, his ingenuity is so troublesome.’

When Thomas is still thinking about how to win. Gary has moved again to begin the attack.

“You're thinking too much!”
