Toby laughed as Ivy reached out to block Logan from hitting her.

"Did you see that? The woman you call lover is protecting me. Do you know what for?" Toby paused his sentence for a moment, then looked intensely at Logan.

"Of course because I'm rich. That's why she cheated on you and protected me instead of defending you who has nothing."

Logan took two steps back to get away from Ivy. "I can't believe you've changed so much," Logan said, but Ivy chose to look out.

"If you weren't poor, I might still be with you. But the way you are, it's not worth it. I should have thought of this earlier," Ivy replied, making Toby laugh very loudly.

"Did you hear that? Everything happens because you're poor. Not only are you poor, but you're just a loser. And a poor guy like you will never know how rich people work. Just like I can easily ask every company you go to to reject you from working there."

Toby's laughter grew louder.

“Yuno Capital, Esta Digital, Sunrise Group...these were the company you tried to join, right?”

“Did they insult you well? If not, I will tell my father not to cooperate with them anymore.” Toby felt so satisfied seeing Logan’s face.

Shocked, unreconciled, furious...Toby enjoyed not only stealing other’s girlfriend, the best part he thought was when the truth was revealed.

This is the part most enjoyable for Toby.

"So this is all because of you?" Logan held his fists tightly.

Logan was furious with Toby's behavior. He had no idea that all his failures were because of him and not himself.

Logan had worked so hard that he had become a top graduate at a top university. He didn't care about the pain and fatigue of finding a job after graduation.

But Toby had easily crushed all of Logan's dreams...

"You shouldn't be surprised like that. Even I can easily do all the things I want. Even to bring you down! Those aren't hard things for me to do."

Toby raised his voice again and looked down at Logan.

Toby had wanted Ivy for so long, but Ivy had chosen poor Logan because he came from a good university. Finally, Toby was satisfied that he could easily take Logan down.

Logan's heart rumbled violently at the ramblings of the man who had gotten him rejected by every company until his jaw hardened.

"You..." Logan could no longer stop himself from getting angry. Just because the man was rich and could play Logan so easily.

Toby moved toward Logan, making Ivy move from her spot.

"Do you mind if this is all my doing? Are you going to do something for me? Tell me what you want to do? I guess you'll just have to cry about your fate."

The man laughed at Logan. He could see Logan's clenched fists and the man's hardened jaw, but Toby didn't care. He was just happy to be toying with Logan right now.

"I have a little offer. I could help you find a job. It just so happens that my company needs a cleaner. And it's perfect for a useless guy like you."

Toby patted Logan on the shoulder, but Logan brushed him off.

"You're just a poor man, and you should stay poor. Are you dreaming of becoming a rich man that you want to turn down my offer? Remember, a man like you isn't destined for riches. That's why you've remained poor all these years."

"You're just a snake who meddles too much in my affairs. Just shut your mouth because I don't need that!"

Logan gave Toby a very sharp look. It was as if Logan wasn't going to let Toby go. But for now, he couldn't do anything about it.

"You'd better lower your gaze. Or I can do something more than this!" Toby felt offended by Logan's arrow-like gaze.

"You should be thanking me for being kind enough to help you with a job offer at my company." Toby shouted very loudly. He was really annoyed with Logan.

"How dare you do all this to me!"

Logan looked furious. Even his body was trembling slightly with anger. His hands were clenched tightly into fists as if he was ready to teach Toby a lesson and didn't want to let go.

Ivy saw Logan's gesture of wanting to beat Toby up. She glanced at the lamp on the table, immediately picked it up, and threw it at Logan.

"Taste this!" a light landed on Logan's head, making him bleed instantly.

"Don't you dare touch Toby. You're just a loser here. You can't even do anything for yourself. I feel so sorry for you."

Ivy smiled bitterly. Ivy should have allowed Logan to touch or teach Toby a lesson. Ivy had fallen so hard for Toby that she wouldn't let Logan touch him. And when she saw Logan fall, Ivy felt very satisfied.

Logan turned to Ivy. "I can't believe it's just because of that guy you're doing this to me?" Logan pointed at Toby and wiped the blood from his temple.

"You don't deserve to point at her at all. Even you're nothing compared to Toby." Ivy sighed angrily. "

You should look in the mirror before you insult Toby. He's not a lowly man like you. You'd better put your hands down right now." Ivy emphasized that to Logan.

Toby laughed again.

"You deserve that. A man like you shouldn't be here. You're just a poor, despicable man. Ivy is a beautiful and perfect woman, and you don't deserve her at all. Ivy would be wasting her time if she had to be with you."

Toby brought up Logan's relationship with Ivy again, letting the beautiful woman think a bit.

"Don't get arrogant just because you're rich!" Logan shouted, getting annoyed with Toby.

"Yes, I am very rich and I enjoy this very much. That's why I can make your girl choose to live with me. I think a beautiful woman like Ivy is sick of living with a poor, useless man like you." Toby glanced at Ivy with a grinning smile.

"Honey, tell me if you don't want to live with him anymore."

Ivy began to think. In hindsight, Toby's words were very trustworthy.

"You're right. How could I have wasted so much time with a loser like him? I think I should end my relationship with Logan."

Then Ivy turned to Logan. "We should break up because I don't want you anymore. Get out of here. You're no longer needed here."

"How could you be swayed just by that guy's words?" Logan couldn't believe it. His girlfriend could easily break up just because he told her to.

Toby laughed with satisfaction.

"Did you hear him? I hope your ears are still functioning properly. And open your eyes wide to accept all this. I can give you 100$ to get some tissues. You might need them after this."

Toby took out his wallet, took out one bill, and threw it in front of Logan. But Logan didn't care about the money that fell at his feet.

"Didn't you hear that? We have nothing to do with each other and get out of my sight!" Ivy snapped back while Toby laughed with satisfaction.

"You should have kicked this guy out from the start. This useless man doesn't deserve to be here. You did the right thing, dear." Toby walked over to Ivy and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Logan was furious with the way they had kicked him out.

"I don't want to be here with two demons like you either!" Logan's heart ached. To the man's laughter, Logan left the apartment he had shared with Ivy for some time.

"Hey, don't you want to take the money?"

Toby yelled, but Logan ignored him. He shouldn't stay here any longer. They had insulted and demeaned him enough. Logan couldn't let those two humans stomp his pride any lower than this.

Logan quickly left the apartment. His heart was filled with hatred after the insults he had received. Logan vowed to avenge this someday.

His anger was so great that the heartache he had previously received was no longer felt at all.

Logan walked in an indeterminate direction until he saw dozens of luxury cars passing by that caught the attention of everyone on the road, including Logan, because they had never seen so many expensive cars together.

"Oh my, there are so many luxury cars passing through here. Is there a big boss coming to town?" A woman not far from Logan spoke up.

The woman showed her amazement at the row of cars traveling very slowly.

"Oh my God, that car is so nice and cool." Another woman nearly dropped her jaw as she watched the expensive cars pass before her.

One by one, people shouted in admiration of the car, making Logan extremely disgusted. Logan only glanced at the woman, and he felt even angrier.

Now he hated all rich people. To him, rich people would only do as they pleased. But at this moment, the lead car stopped in front of him. An old man in neat clothes got out of the vehicle. Logan was amazed because he recognized him.

“Nice to meet you again, Young master Logan.”
