An elderly figure had just gotten out of his luxury car. The old man was dressed very neatly. He wore a formal suit with shiny leather shoes that further supported his appearance and had just gotten of a luxury car at a fantastic price. Everyone who looked at him was amazed.
"Is he the old man who used to greet me?" Logan wondered even more. Logan thought he knew the old man from a distance because he looked so much like his neighbor. Until Logan finally dismissed the thought because he found it highly unlikely.
Logan squinted when he saw the old man smiling and walking towards him. At first, Logan felt that his vision was wrong as the old man got closer, but Logan was sure he did recognize the old man. But Logan found it strange that the old man came with several luxury cars.
This time Logan felt there was no mistaking it. The old man was indeed his neighbor; Logan had known him for years. It was just that the man's appearance was very different from before. Logan remembered very clearly that the old man used to greet him every time Logan would leave for campus. But in Logan's memory, the old man was not wealthy. And, of course, Logan was puzzled that after not seeing each other for so long, the old man appeared with a new face and look.
"Why is he walking towards me?" Logan asked in his heart. His eyes couldn't stop looking at the old man. Until Logan was even more confused when the old man did come towards him, and now, he quit his steps precisely half a meter from Logan's presence.
Just now, Logan decided to hate the rich man, but this time Logan couldn't say anything as they faced each other. Logan asked himself why the rich man had come to him. Until finally, the old man bowed slightly and greeted Logan with a very respectful face.
"I finally found you, young master." The man spoke very politely. But what confused Logan the most was when the man referred to him as Young Master.
"Are you Mr. David?" Logan asked to ensure that the old man who was now in front of him was the neighbor who used to greet him every morning.
"You are quite right, young Master. I am David." The answer from the old man certainly made Logan even more dumbfounded.
What exactly was going on right now? How could an old man who was so poor and came with several luxury cars and was now coming to Logan call him Young Master? Even every step of the way, he was guarded by bodyguards with large postures and scary faces.
"You were looking for me?" asked Logan as he recalled that David had said that he had finally found him. So what was he looking for? Was he going to patronize him like Toby? But Logan quickly pushed those evil thoughts away. Because, as it happened, Sir David respected him very much.
"Of course. There's something very important. That's why we came to get you. And come with us. There's something you need to know right now." Mr. David pointed to the car as if inviting Logan to come and get into his luxury car.
"What made you look for me?" Logan still wanted to ask, but the man just smiled without answering.
"Come with us, sir. I'll explain and answer all those questions, but you must come with us." The old man invited Logan to walk towards the car, but by the time Logan moved his feet, one of the bodyguards had already opened the car door.
At first, Logan felt reluctant to follow David's words. But curiosity got the best of Logan, forcing him to get into the luxury car. Even now, he was being treated with great respect.
Logan got into the car and was followed by David, who also got into the exact vehicle. David also sat beside him this time because he would talk to Logan about something important. He also wanted to ensure Logan stayed with him and wouldn't mind leaving.
"This is still hard to believe." Logan muttered to himself.
For a moment, Logan looked out the car window. He realized that there was a large crowd watching him in awe. But all that made Logan's head spin because today felt so abnormal.
At first, he had to be insulted and rejected by all the companies he visited. He also had to accept that his girlfriend betrayed and humiliated him and his new girlfriend. And now, someone came and picked him up in a luxury car and treated Logan like the son of a king. It seemed so absurd.
"What exactly happened? Why did you suddenly come and make me so confused?" Logan questioned again when he hadn't gotten any reassurance from Mr. David.
"Where are you taking me, Mr. David? This looks like a joke, but it's not funny at all. Tell me, what's really going on?" Logan was still trying to ask, making David turn his head back to look at Logan, who was still confused.
"Young Master, you will get the answer soon. You don't need to worry and be anxious." David gave an answer and tried to make Logan believe that this was the real thing, but it was still difficult for Logan to accept in his mind.
"Are you a rich man now?" Logan asked again, but David just smiled at him.
"You'll know everything soon enough, young master." David didn't want to give Logan an explanation at all, which made him even more dizzy and even more curious about what he needed to know later.
The lack of a definitive answer made Logan wonder if David had just won the lottery to become who he is today. If that was the case, what made the old man pick him up and take him away like this?
Logan finally decided not to ask any more questions. He was sure he would find the answer when the car stopped. Logan sat quietly and observed the road he had never traveled. After a long time of traveling, the car finally entered the courtyard of a luxury villa and stopped there.
"We're here, young sir," David said, and the old man got out early. Meanwhile, Logan was still sitting in confusion. And while Logan's disorder wasn't over, David opened the door for him. "Please come down, young sir." David invited him with great politeness.
"I don't recognize this Villa at all. What did we come here for?" Logan wanted not to ask, but he was even more confused by David's actions.
"You'll find the answer inside soon enough. Someone is waiting for you there. Go ahead!" David invited Logan back in.
Logan stood up to stare at the large Villa in front of him. Suddenly his heart was beating very fast because of the slight worry in his heart. But he recalled that David had been his neighbor for several years. He was a friendly person and always treated Logan very well. Logan tried to neutralize his heartbeat and convinced himself to go inside.
No longer asking questions, Logan finally followed David into the luxurious Villa. Even though Logan's heart was filled with many questions, he couldn't wait to get the answers.
But suddenly, Logan decided to stop his steps. He felt reluctant to go inside when the bodyguard had just opened the big door of the luxury villa.
"Before this tell me, who will we meet inside?" Logan turned to Mr. David and gave him a sharp look. But the old man smiled back.
"After entering, there is something big that will definitely be able to change your life. Hasn't there been a lot of trouble recently?" This time, David tried to reassure Logan with words that made Logan feel a little more confident.
Forced Logan to resume his steps. But when he got inside, someone was sitting there observing his arrival, which made him feel even more surprised when Logan saw that person. Logan recognized the man sitting in front of him. That man was his father.
