Everyone was still silent, but after hearing Logan's request to the waitress, they looked at each other. But soon, they burst out laughing.
"Did you hear that? A loser wants to buy the most expensive drink here? He can't even afford bread here." This time Toby chimed in. He assured them that Logan didn't have anything.
Theo held his stomach, still sore from his laughter, then said, "Maybe he just wanted to prove a point, but I think he went overboard. I'm just afraid that this loser will be embarrassed afterward." Of course, he found this even more embarrassing than the news of Logan's unemployment.
"I guess he's just shameless. If he had any shame, he would have left long ago." Yuri responded to her thoughts about Logan.
"The bartender just kicked him out, but he's acting up again, saying he wants to order the most expensive drink here." Toby deliberately made matters worse by telling them what had happened earlier until everyone looked back at Logan.
"So he's been causing trouble here all along?" Alice patted herself on the head for being so ridiculous. "Logan, never mind, we already know everything. You shouldn't have to pretend like this." Alice gave another warning, but it seemed like she had warned the wrong person because Logan had been behaving very calmly.
"Does he think the most expensive drink here can be bought for ten dollars?" Yuri belittled Logan and continued to give Logan strange looks.
Meanwhile, Ivy was fed up with Logan's behavior and said, "Logan, don't you feel embarrassed to be here. You should've told the waiter and cut out the lies. You won't be able to afford anything here."
"Is he that slow? He shouldn't have to pretend to have a lot of money. That's disgusting." They also looked at him with disgust.
On the other hand, Logan was silent and thought there was no need to respond to them and let them feel dumbfounded after learning the truth.
At this point, Rachel immediately wanted to take Logan's order, but upon checking, she quickly realized that there weren't many drinks in stock. Then she went back to confirm with Logan.
"I'm sorry, sir, we don't have 100 bottles, as the most expensive drink only has 10 left," Rachel said politely.
"Why are you wasting your time serving a poor man like him? You shouldn't waste so much time since he doesn't have anything." Ivy warned the waitress, who continued to serve Logan. But Rachel ignored Ivy's words and continued to stare at Logan to help him.
"Alright, I want everything," Logan said very calmly. But Toby felt increasingly annoyed by Logan's ridiculous behavior.
"All right, sir. I'll get the drinks over here." Rachel went back to get Logan's order.
"You shouldn't play the waitress like that. Never mind, stop that silly behavior of yours. You can't even get a job, but you're pretending by ordering expensive drinks. Can you pay it off by working as a waiter here?"
Toby wanted Logan to feel embarrassed and panic. But Logan was still very calm like this. Shouldn't Logan have left after hearing all his classmates insult him?
"Why do you waste your cool with emotions on that loser? Let it be, and we'll see. That loser is just lulling and will soon be embarrassed." Ivy rubbed Toby's shoulder to calm him down.
By now, Ivy was looking Logan up and down. She wondered if Toby didn't need to get emotional with that guy. Ivy certainly didn't want to see her boyfriend have to ruin his own mood. She was pretty sure that Logan would get embarrassed soon enough.
"I guess that guy is just shameless. Are all those words not enough to bring him to his senses? Does he want to embarrass himself even more after this? I think he's losing his mind too." Theo became angry with Logan's behavior
Theo already felt this was wasting so much time that he couldn't drink the alcohol he had ordered earlier.
Meanwhile, Logan still didn't want to respond to the words of everyone who looked down on him. At that moment, he sat quietly to wait for the waiter's arrival.
Seeing Logan, who was very peaceful, Yuri was also upset. "It seems like this guy is really a clueless person. Look at him acting like a boss here. Can't he accept that his life has been unlucky until now?"
Yuri remembered all too well when they were in college. That damn Logan often received praise from lecturers. And it pissed him off that the poor guy never even had the exact tutoring or private lessons as him. He never took a break as a child because he had to help his father earn extra money.
Yuri and almost all of his friends disliked Logan for the same reason. And right now, they had the opportunity to put Logan down because of the situation in his favor.
"He can't even have the money to buy decent clothes, and now he's pretending to buy the most expensive drinks. Does he think we can be fooled like that?" Alice was also furious. She wanted to approach Logan and give him a hard slap on the cheek. Maybe it would make the man's head function properly. But on second thought, she didn't get her hands dirty.
"I've never seen such a shameless person before." Yuri shook his head as he found Logan's behavior strange.
Theo quickly replied, "Not only is he shameless, but he may have lost his mind."
"Why don't you sit down and wait quietly? You just need to wait."
Rocky raised his voice again. To be honest, Rocky had been feeling anxious about Logan's behavior. He was afraid that what they were all saying was true, but he tried to reassure himself by thinking positively.
"Stop defending that stupid guy. He's no longer the pride of the campus. You should know one thing-he's a loser now." Theo emphasized Rocky so the man could realize his best friend could no longer be proud of today.
During the argument, the waiter suddenly returned to Logan with the card in his hand and without bringing the drink Logan had ordered earlier.
Instantly everyone laughed. He thought Logan had failed to pay because he had given the wrong card.
"Look, the waitress gave the stupid guy his card back," Yuri said as the waitress gave Logan his card back.
"I guess on his way here, that guy found the card on the street and thought there was money in it, so he ordered the most expensive drink here." Alice gave her opinion, then laughed very loudly while holding her sore stomach because Logan's behavior made her laugh a lot.
Meanwhile, Logan, who received the card from the waiter, frowned. "Where's the drink?" Logan asked in confusion because the waiter came only to give the card back without bringing the drink he had ordered.
"Why are you still playing dumb? Of course, you failed to pay, so she didn't bring you a drink. You've made her lose much time by serving a loser like her." Toby wanted to punch Logan in the head to make him realize his lousy behavior. But he felt no need to do that because it would waste time and energy.
Meanwhile, the waiter spoke very carefully. "I'm sorry, sir... but-"
Ivy was so furious that she immediately cut off the servant's speech. "Why do you have to apologize? You don't have to apologize because that man is a liar. You shouldn't have listened to his request in the first place."
