"They're useless people."
Logan sneered as he walked away from the bar, he was beginning to know what his ex-girlfriend was like. She was just like the others who only cared about money above all else to the point of belittling people so quickly. Of course, Logan was too lazy to deal with them, so he left now.
But before Logan reached the exit, he suddenly saw all his classmates coming, causing him to stop. At first, Logan thought everyone had pranked him and wouldn't come, but seeing everyone arrive, Logan felt happy that his arrival here would not be in vain.
Logan stood still and stared at all his classmates who entered the bar. But none of them greeted Logan or acknowledged his presence. And they just walked past Logan.
"Hi Logan, did you come earlier?" In the last row, Rocky greeted him. He was Logan's best friend who just wanted to talk to Logan.
"Yeah, I've been here for a while," Logan answered calmly. He quickly changed his facial expression and banished the annoyance in his heart.
This time, Logan turned his gaze towards his other friends, but he found it strange that his friends were talking to each other, but no one wanted to speak with Logan. And Rocky noticed it too.
Rocky felt that his friends' attitude was undoubtedly unfair to Logan. Rocky knew they didn't talk to Logan because everyone was jealous of him. Logan was the best student in the class and had the most beautiful girlfriend. And, of course, that made them jealous of Logan.
"Hey, isn't that Ivy?" One of Logan's friends-Theo noticed a woman standing in front of the bar with a man. Theo knew she was Logan's girlfriend, but how could she be with another man right now?
Everyone immediately turned their eyes toward the bar table until they were shocked. They turned their eyes toward Logan until they laughed at him.
"Hey, Logan. What happened that you let Ivy be with another guy? Did you guys break up?" Yuri asked with a mocking look. Yuri didn't hesitate to raise his voice's intonation so that everyone there could hear Logan. Ivy and Toby were no exception.
Logan ignored Yuri's question. He didn't care about Ivy anymore, so Logan kept his cool even though all of his friends were currently staring at Logan with big questions when Ivy was with another man.
"There's no need to keep a woman who doesn't deserve to be kept,"
Logan replied with a flat expression on his face. Logan immediately realized that Ivy was indeed inappropriate and not worth keeping. But Logan's answer, heard by Ivy's ears, naturally made the beautiful woman feel furious.
"Do you think I deserve to be defended by a loser like you? You don't even deserve to be with any woman." Ivy shouted. Her eyes looked at Logan very sharply and filled with anger.
"Oh my. Apparently, something big happened to that pair of lovers who were so compatible back then. This is very interesting." Yuri spoke up again, and even now, he started laughing very loudly.
Theo immediately replied, "If you look at a beautiful woman like Ivy, she doesn't deserve to be with a loser like him."
One by one, among them, Yuri and Theo laughed at Logan's seemingly miserable fate. At first, everyone was very jealous of Logan being able to get a beautiful woman like Ivy, but everyone soon found out that Ivy had ditched Logan this time.
Rocky felt uncomfortable when his best friend became an easy target for ridicule, so he immediately tried to defend Logan.
"You shouldn't have prolonged the problem," Rocky said and tried to stand for Logan. "I hope you haven't forgotten what we came for to celebrate graduation."
"Wait, I think I know why Ivy left Logan and chose another man this time." Theo approached and took in Logan's appearance from top to bottom, then she laughed out loud before speaking again. "I think he's still a poor man."
"You're right. He doesn't even have any decent clothes to wear to this party. That's very sad." His girlfriend - Alice, chimed in. She even sneered at Logan. And everyone agreed with Alice.
"I just don't have time to change my clothes," Logan responded to Alice's remark, but her answer made everyone laugh again.
"Are you a busy person now? But your appearance doesn't support your answer at all." Theo chimed in, thinking that Logan was making it up. They didn't even care about Logan's current embarrassment.
"Why do you have to prolong the matter? He said he didn't have time to change because I called him on the spur of the moment. You shouldn't have embarrassed him like this." Rocky felt angry at all the friends who had made a joke out of Logan.
"I think you're overdoing it by defending him. Because the truth is that he's still unemployed to this day. He's a total loser now. Then why can't I find another good guy?" Ivy revealed the truth about Logan to the astonishment of all his friends.
"What? We've had much better luck with the guy we used to brag about on campus. We've all gotten jobs, and our lives are about to improve, but the guy with the best grades is a loser now." Without hesitation, Yuri mocked Logan.
Logan felt annoyed with Ivy again. She knew that her new boyfriend had kept Logan from getting a job until now, but she said it to everyone as if Logan was a useless man.
"Really? If that's true, you made the right choice. We don't need to be with an unemployed man." Alice confirmed Ivy's actions. Likewise, all her classmates nodded in agreement.
"I thought he would be a great guy after graduation because he was the best graduating student, but unfortunately, his fate is terrible. He seems to be a loser nowadays." Yuri sneered at him. He had once envied Logan back in the day, but now he looked at Logan very lightly.
Theo put his hands in his pockets. Yuri stood looking at Logan very haughtily. "Then how can this loser dare to stand among us now?"
Logan felt very annoyed at all his classmates. He looked at each and every one of the people who had belittled him. "Now I know what kind of people you are. You only envy the great but look down on the poor." Logan sneered at them, but they looked down on him even more.
"Because poor men deserve to be looked down upon. Don't you think?" Theo raised his voice, making them all laugh again.
But suddenly Logan shouted so loudly, "Servant!" his voice was heard above the laughter of all his classmates that everyone fell silent.
Rachel, who had been serving Logan earlier, came over. "How can I help you, sir?"
Logan reached into his pocket and quickly pulled out the gold card his father had given him earlier, then tossed it to Rachel. "Give me 100 bottles of the most expensive drink right now!"
