A New Jared

A New Jared.

Jared woke up to the sound of Emily's nagging voice. "Where have you been these past few days? You disappear for days without a word, Jared," she scolded.

"I had some work to take care of," Jared replied, sitting up in bed.

"What work? You've been acting strange lately. Are you seeing someone else? Is that why you're always disappearing?" Emily accused.

Jared shook his head. "No, I'm not seeing anyone else. I just had some personal matters to attend to."

"Personal matters? What personal matters could be so important that you disappear for days without a word?" Emily continued to nag.

"I don't want to talk about it," Jared said, getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom.

"You don't want to talk about it? Fine, keep your secrets to yourself," Emily replied, folding her arms.

Jared took a deep breath and tried to remain calm. He knew that he couldn't tell Emily about Mr Hank, at least not yet. He needed to figure out what he was going to do with the inheritance first.

As he washed his face, Jared thought about Mr Hank's will and all the possibilities it presented. He could finally get revenge on Emily and her mother, and live the life he always wanted. But at what cost? Jared knew that he couldn't let the money change him or make him bitter. He needed to be smart and use the money wisely.

Jared walked back into the room and saw that Emily was still staring at him. "I'm going out for a while," he said, grabbing his jacket.

"Where are you going now?" Emily asked, rolling her eyes.

"Just out for a walk," Jared replied, before leaving the house.

As Jared walked down the street, he couldn't help but think about Emily's nagging and how he wished he could tell her about Mr Hank's will. But he knew that he couldn't risk it, not yet. Jared needed to be patient and plan his next move carefully.

Jared woke up early on a Saturday morning with a heavy heart. He got dressed and left the house without telling Emily where he was going. She didn't seem to notice or care anyway.

Jared made his way to the cemetery where Mr Hank was buried. He found the lawyer waiting for him near the grave. The lawyer was a tall and slim man, he looked serious and professional.

"Good morning, Jared," the lawyer said as he approached him.

"Good morning, sir," Jared replied.

"I know this must be difficult for you, but Mr Hank wanted you to have this," the lawyer said, handing Jared an envelope.

Jared opened the envelope and found a letter inside. It was from Mr Hank, written just before he passed away. Jared began to read it, tears streaming down his face.

"Dear Jared, if you are reading this, it means that I am no longer here. I want you to know that you were the best thing that ever happened to me. I am glad that I met you and I am proud of the person you have become. I have left everything I have to you. Please use it to make your life better and to help others in need. Take care of yourself, Jared. You will always be in my heart. Yours truly, Hank."

Jared folded the letter and put it back in the envelope. He stood there, staring at the grave, lost in thought.

The lawyer cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "If you need any assistance, don't hesitate to call me," he said before leaving.

Jared stayed at the grave for a while longer, silently paying his respects to the man who had changed his life. He made a promise to himself to make Mr Hank proud and to use the wealth he had inherited to make a positive impact in the world.

As he left the cemetery, Jared felt a sense of purpose he had never felt before. He knew he had a lot of work to do, but he was ready to face any challenges that lay ahead.

Jared and Mr Hank's lawyer, Bill, met at a local coffee shop. Jared was surprised to see that Bill had brought a suitcase filled with new clothes for him. Bill explained that they needed to make sure Jared looked the part of a successful CEO before meeting with the board of directors.

As Jared got a haircut and tried on the new clothes, he couldn't help but feel like he was in a dream. He never imagined being in this position, and he was grateful for Mr Hank's kindness.

Once Jared was ready, they headed to Mr Hank's company. As they entered the building, Bill explained to Jared what to expect in the meeting.

"Jared, you are now the CEO of this company. It's important that you assert yourself and show confidence. The board of directors will be looking for a leader who can take this company to the next level."

Jared nodded, taking in Bill's words.

They entered the conference room, and Jared was introduced as the new CEO. The board members looked at him with surprise, but they listened as Bill explained Mr Hank's wishes for Jared to take over the company.

"I understand this is a surprise to many of you, but I can assure you that Jared has been well prepared for this role. He has worked closely with Mr Hank, and he has the skills and knowledge to lead this company into a successful future."

Jared looked around the room, feeling the weight of the moment. He knew he had to prove himself to the board, and he was ready to do so.

"Thank you for this opportunity. I am honored to be chosen as the new CEO of this company, and I promise to work hard to make it a success," Jared said, feeling more confident with each passing moment.

The board members nodded, and the meeting continued with discussions about the company's future plans. Jared listened attentively, taking notes and making suggestions.

As the meeting concluded, Jared thanked the board members for their time and support. He couldn't believe this was his life now, but he was determined to make Mr Hank proud and take the company to new heights.

Meanwhile at the Winston home Jared hasn't come home for day's and they didn't seem to care because he was useless anyways.

The Winston family sat in their living room, watching TV with no sign of Jared. His mother in law was scrolling through her phone, his father in law was reading the newspaper, and his wife was painting her nails.

Suddenly, the news anchor on TV broke out with a breaking news alert, "In an unexpected turn of events, Jared Winston has been announced as the new CEO of Hank Enterprises, inheriting billions of dollars from the late Mr. Hank himself."

The news of Jared's sudden rise to billionaire CEO was a shock to the Winston family, Jared's in-laws who never thought much of him. Emily's lousy brother and parents who had always looked down on Jared were now staring in disbelief at the TV screen. They hadn't seen or heard from Jared in days, but they didn't care much for him anyway, or so they thought.

As they watched the news, their jaws dropped at the sight of Jared, dressed in expensive clothing and surrounded by cameras and reporters. They couldn't believe their eyes as the news anchor announced Jared as the new CEO of Hank Industries, a multibillion-dollar corporation.

The family exchanged puzzled looks, wondering how Jared, whom they always considered a loser, could become so successful overnight. They started to question their own lives, wondering what they had missed, and how Jared had managed to outsmart them all.

But as much as they wanted to ignore it, one question lingered in their minds: What had Jared done to become so successful, and why hadn't he told them anything?

Emily's jaw dropped as she saw the breaking news on TV. She couldn't believe her eyes. Her husband, the man she thought was a failure, was suddenly a billionaire CEO. Her mind raced as she tried to process the news. How could this be? How did Jared manage to do this without her knowing? The shock of it all left her speechless, and for the first time in a long time, she felt a twinge of regret for the way she treated him.

" What are we going to do now ??" Emily's mom gasped.

" He is still married to me right???
