Daniel watched his son stride through the stairs with Avery, he felt angry about this and wanted to interrupt since Adrian had been badly warned to stay away from her, but he knew that Adrian had been through enough embarrassment for one day and wouldn't be so happy if he was talk down on right before his guest.

Walking back to the house, Adrian was so lost in his thoughts that he did not notice the figure walking towards him, but as soon as he lifted his head to meet the dark gaze piercing at him, he was startled.

“Dad, you are still awake?”

“Yes, I was just about go to bed when I noticed you walking out of the house, you have been avoiding me all night and seeing her leave the house, I think that I clearly understand now”

“I am not avoiding you, I don't think that there is any reason for that, I have just been busy with my own things”

“Yes I saw that, and it made me wonder how many lives they are going to have to take away for you to take away from her”

“No life will be lost again,
