Chapter 76

Adrian stepped out of the bathroom after what felt like forever in there and was stunned to see his Dad seated on the stool in his room. He had a towel wrapped around his waist and water dripping down from his forehead so he went ahead to ignore his father and stride over to the dresser.

Daniel kept his eyes fixed on the magazine on the table, although he barely read anything in it, but it was all his attempt to pass the time while waiting for his son.

“Is everything alright Dad?” Adrian asked as soon as he was all dressed in his black pajamas.

“Those people that sent you a warning regarding Avery, they are the same people that did this today right?”

“I don't know yet, I would have to find out”

“And you went out with Avery despite all of my warnings, tell me, are you seeing now?”

“No, not at all. We are just friends and I am only trying to connect with the holy light which is why I keep meeting with her”

“You keep meeting with her, so you are saying that this has been going on. Is thi
