Chapter 78

Seth is seated in the large armchair in his office, his left finger cannot stop tapping on his desk while his right hand is holding onto his phone with his eyes glued to it. the air around the office seemed intensely cold.

He scrolled through the news feeds and his eyes settled on the picture of Adrian, no matter how many times he had stared at it, he could not stop looking at it.

As he swiveled around in his large armchair, his eyes not drifting away from his phone, his brows furrowed in concentration, he was so engrossed in his thoughts that he did not notice the large door swing open with Jason stepping in and he only became aware of his presence when Jason cracks his throat.

“Jason! You are here, just the man that I was thinking about”

“I could place a bet that you were thinking more about Adrian more than you were about me, and whatever it is you are staring at on your phone is definitely about him.
