Chapter 27

Iriana and her colleagues glanced at each other. No one was talking there until the sound of clockwork was so loud that it overpowered the music playing softly.

Iriana turned to the girl next to her, Sofia, and suddenly laughed. Their voices were so loud it made her fellow students laugh until they were holding their stomachs. Julius's every word sounded like a corny fairy tale recited before bedtime.

Iriana wiped the water from the corners of her eyes, "Oh my! Stop bragging! You're making my stomach hurt!" She clung to Sofia's shoulder, continuing her unending laughter. They looked like two people in a trance.

Sofia adds another insult without stopping there, saying, "Sir, you must be hallucinating. Oh my! Are you drunk? How many bottles did you drink before you came here and got delirious?" She thought Julius must have had a hard day to be that crazy.
