"Damn Julius!" cursed Ron as he kicked the gravel on the side of the road. The passing vehicles' noise and the air's heat made his irritation grow.

Remembering Julius' face when he and Tina had been thrown out in disgrace made his hands clench into fists. Anger overcame him with a raging breath. He wanted to punch Julius and stomp him into begging for mercy!

"We have to get back at that rat, Ron! I won't take it!" Tina shouted as she stomped through the smoke-filled streets.

She waved her hands in front of her face to block out the fumes. When she was annoyed, car horns being honked impatiently annoyed her. Moreover, the sun seemed to be shining overhead.

"Yes, we have to get back at him! Damn, every time I think of his lowly face I want to beat that poor guy with both hands!" Ron was still on a roll.

Until a call on Ron's cell phone made him stop at the side of the road. The man stared with furrowed brows as the number from his bank popped up.

"Hello?" he greeted with a raised hand as Tina tried to speak and asked who was calling. The girl frowned, too, as Ron's face became cloudy.

"What? Bills? But, isn't it still not due yet? You can't unilaterally decide like that!" he shouted in exasperation.

Hearing the word 'bill', Tina naturally panicked. She moved closer to Ron to hear more clearly what they were discussing.

"Sir, it can't be like that! You can't just seize our assets! The due date is still a long time away. We can't pay it off anytime soon. Give it to us, Sir! Wait a moment! Sir? Hello?" Ron pulled out his cell phone to see if the call was still going on or not.

Ron grabbed his own hair, he was panicking and couldn't think straight. The fear of losing his assets and falling into poverty was giving him a headache.

"Damn it!" he cursed with his arms swinging, almost slamming the phone. The man rubbed his face in frustration as Tina made a confused face, waiting for his explanation.

"The bank called, we have to pay off all the bills in three hours!" he said with a harsh sigh.

Tina, with her shrill voice, responded. She ruffled her hair, which felt hot and smoky. "What? Three hours? Are they crazy? That's ridiculous!" Tina responded without a solution.

"And they're going to seize our assets if we can't pay them back quickly! Shit! Where are we going to get that kind of money?" complained Ron, now clenching his fists in anger.

Tina shook her head, running out of ideas to solve this one problem. Her hands trembled, and her body went cold. If they lost their assets, they would be homeless.

Not much different from Ron, who was now tapping his foot against the ground. He repeatedly bit his own fingers to hold back his anxiety.

Until a passing car suddenly stopped in front of them. Two people dressed all in black got out and immediately smothered the thrashing Ron and Tina into the vehicle. It didn't matter if they tried to escape by elbowing or kicking. In fact, Ron strengthened his legs to stay in place and could not be dragged in.

Seeing Ron holding on, the one man who had been smothering him snapped, "Get in!" he called out in a high tone.

Impatient, the man kicked Ron's legs and pushed his body hard. Until Ron's body slammed into the back seat and fell face-first.

When Ron had just managed to sit down properly, the man accidentally saw Tina's pale face in fear. So, he shouted, "Damn it! What the hell, huh?!" Ron shouted in a loud voice. No one answered. The three people who brought them, didn't open their mouths at all.

"Who are you guys? How dare you mess with us!" Undaunted, Ron continued to rebel, trying to force open the car door even though the car was speeding down the street. All kinds of bad thoughts filled his mind.

Again and again, the man pulled the door handle, but he couldn't do it. Apparently, the car door had been locked so that he and Tina could not escape.

So, Ron kicked the car door hard. So many times, his legs ached from the impact with the hard material of the car.

Unfortunately, Ron was forced to stand still when the gun's muzzle was aimed at his cranium, "Shit!" Ron hissed with a gasp.

The man held his breath, glanced to the side, and found the man who had caught him earlier, preparing to pull the trigger. Move a little, and his head would turn into a bull's-eye.

"Shut up and obey! Or I'll blow your head off in one pull!" he threatened coldly.

Ron froze, and the man was forced to sit back in his chair. He glanced at Tina, who looked deathly pale with legs trembling in fear.

"You'd better sit still like this. Don't act up, or I'll kill you mercilessly!" A man sitting beside the driver's seat spoke, his eyes not even glancing at all from the windshield.

"Why are you arresting us? We're not guilty of anything!" Ron barked loudly. But he immediately shrank with his eyes closed when the gun's muzzle was brought closer to his head.

With that, an unpleasant odour wafted from the car. The man holding the gun looked in various directions for the source of the smell and snorted in disgust when he realized that Ron was scared to death.

Jeff smiled wryly, and the man folded his arms casually, "You guys are so arrogant! Do things just happen that I have to tell you?"

Jeff shook his head, "You like to cause trouble, and disturb our master's peace. You deserve this!" Jeff added in a cold tone.

Jeff still remembered how Ron and Tina had been so bold with Julius. From the time Julius was still living with the Cellen family until now when he had been evicted.

Ron and Tina gaped. Both of them had no idea who Julius' master was. "But we don't even know who your master is," Tina muttered hoarsely.

"Don't be stupid, you've just caused trouble! You attacked and insulted him in public! You idiots!" scolded Jeff angrily. His eyes glanced toward the centre mirror of the car and found Ron and Tina suddenly pale.

There was only one person they had just attacked and humiliated in public. And that was Julius! Could it be that the master they were referring to was Julius?

Now, fear crawled from head to toe. Both Tina and Ron swallowed hard. The apartment director's behaviour and the behaviour of these people proved that Julius was not a random person. But that was impossible! Julius was not a man of any power to them!

Jeff glanced back at the centre mirror and smiled wryly at Ron and Tina's frightened faces. "Now, it's too late to regret what you've done. You'll get what's coming to you!"

The two glanced at each other. With that, the car stopped. The two people who had ambushed them jumped into the back seat. Bringing fear and horror to their bones. Two seconds later, the car was silent, and Ron and Tina lost sight of each other.

Elsewhere, Julius was enjoying the sumptuous meal specially served by the director. The man chewed and savoured each mouthful with pleasure.

"Would Mr. Julius like anything?" asked Sam politely. The man stood up, with several servants behind him at the ready. He kept a good attitude to not further disappoint the man in front of him.

Julius shook his head, the man felt he didn't need anything. Because his stomach must be pampered first after the commotion this morning.

"Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced this morning. We will increase security and stricter selection for our future workers to avoid similar incidents." Sam bowed, and the man again apologized for Ron and Tina's behaviour and the security guard's.

"Yes, you should." Julius replied without a smile, the man didn't even look at Sam.

"Thank you for your understanding, Mr. Julius. If there's nothing else you need, we'll take our leave." The director excused himself, and Julius nodded.

When Sam and the other servants finally left, Julius, still chewing his food, put his knife and fork down on his plate.

He folded his hands on the table, gazing at the surroundings of his luxurious penthouse.

"It's truly marvelous! This family does have a lot of power," he said with pride and admiration.

Until suddenly, his smile disappeared. Julius's hands were now clenched into fists, and instantly, there was a thumping sound, and the dining table shook.

Julius punched the table in annoyance, remembering how people had treated him. His eyes flashed with ambition, and his chest felt full. "Now, there will be no more underestimated and humiliated Julius!"

"Because, I will do everything!"

That morning, Julius called Jeff in to see him. The man, who had just finished breakfast, was sitting sipping tea while waiting for Jeff, his trusted servant. Not long after, the man entered and bowed to salute and greet, "Good morning, Mr. Julius. Did you enjoy the breakfast menu?" Jeff asked. The man ensured that Julius was satisfied with his chosen menu.Julius straightened up, crossed his legs, and stared coldly at Jeff, who had not yet straightened up. He certainly knew the reason why the master was acting this way towards him. It must be because of the service error that happened yesterday morning."I apologize for Sam's slowness in serving you. Yesterday's incident must have bothered you a lot." Jeff hadn't finished speaking, and the man paused his sentence momentarily."He wasn't quick enough to deal with the problem, and deserves to be punished. Master-" Before Jeff could finish, Julius cut him off."That's not necessary, Jeff." Julius spoke firmly, his eyes looking disintere

And Julius immediately parked his car quite far away. The man entered and looked around. His eyes found a man sitting at the end, who stood up and waved."Uncle Thony?" greeted Julius kindly. The man sat down in front of the older man he called Thony. They exchanged high-fives, and Uncle Thony immediately offered Julius a drink. The man looked so happy because he had not seen the son of his best friend for so long."Oh my, Julius! How long has it been since we've seen each other?" The slightly chubby man smiled again, revealing the wrinkles on his cheekbones. Some of his hair was already graying, with a thin beard and dull ey

Julius ran over and caught Thony's body on the sidewalk. Concerned, Julius asked, "Is Uncle okay?" Especially when he saw the bruise on Thony's hand, caused by rubbing against the rough surface of the sidewalk.Thony, of course, didn't answer, he just stayed silent with a pale face and a cold body. He didn't even seem to hear what Julius was asking him. The man looked dazed, even his shoulders shook unconsciously."Uncle?"Julius waved a hand before Thony, and shook his shoulders for a while. Thony blinked, and was surprised by Julius' presence. The man even backed away while dragging himself away. His face looked panicked and even paler.Thony's eyes widened, "Julius, why are you here? What are you doing? Go away!" Thony pleaded in a frightened tone. The man looked so worried that his eyebrows knitted together. Upon hearing Julius' statement, Thony immediately grabbed Julius and turned him around to face him. With a panicked look, Thony said, "Julius, don't act stupidly! Uncle knows how you live, don't be like this."It was still evident in Thony's mind how Julius endured the insults and abuse he didn't deserve. In fact, the Cellen family rationed his expenses, demonizing him in public. Julius never got justice, he was treated as he pleased.Julius frowned, "Uncle doesn't know how I live. And I don't need your money right now." Julius responded in a low voice, because he respected Uncle Thony. But Thony still refused Julius, even more loudly and firmly. His body was still weak, but he really didn't want Julius to get into trouble of his own making."Why are you so stubborn? Leave, because it's the best choice." But unfortunately, Thony's wish was opposed by Julius.Julius now chuckled, "I'm not leaving, Uncle. You're wrong if you think this is the best option. I'm not a loser who would run a

Julius quickly grabbed his cell phone and transferred an ounce of money to Ed. Thony, who saw it, immediately pulled Julius' hand away.Thony's eyes widened, incredulous, "Julius, where did you get all this money? One hundred thousand dollars is not a small amount."Julius smiled a little, the man shook his head and removed Thony's hand from his. "My life has changed a lot, Uncle. It's no big deal."And now, the money had changed hands with Ed. The man immediately checked his bank account with a cheeky smile. He didn't care about Thony, who now looked worried for Julius."Julius, you know how you are. It's not company money, right?" Thony confirmed once again. He only knew that Julius was living with the Cullen family. He couldn't have that kind of money, even though Julius was clever and industrious.Julius shook his head again, "It's not company money. You don't need to be afraid." Julius calmed Thony, who was still looking at him worriedly."But the amount is huge. There's no way I

"It's mine, Uncle." Julius answered Thony's question briefly. He immediately started his car to leave the area where they had eaten earlier."No kidding. Where did you get all this from? You must be lying to uncle," Thony guessed while scratching his temple. The thing was, Thony even knew that Julius wasn't being paid by Noel. Let alone a salary, he wasn't even given enough time off.Julius chuckled, "No Uncle, I'm not joking at all. Why would I lie?"But apparently, Thony still didn't believe that. With a confused look, Thony asked again, "Is this not your wife's car? Are you married to Bella?" That was the only possibility. This was because Bella belonged to a prominent family after her company skyrocketed. Yes, even if it was done by using Julius.Julius shook his head in disbelief if his uncle still thought he was related to the Cullen family. "Of course not. This is totally mine." Julius even managed an amused smile. Thinking about how Thony had no idea what he had been up to lat

This morning, when Julius finished his breakfast agenda, Jeff came to hand over a report. Jeff's cell phone was handed to Julius, with a page featuring Noel's face and the name of his company as highlights.Julius laughed briefly as he looked at Jeff, who had just reported on the family of Bella, his ex-fiancée, who had dumped him. "So, they're broke?" he asked with a small smile.Jeff nodded, and the man confirmed his Master's words, "Yes, Master. Several companies canceled contracts due to the Noel scandal a while ago. Their image has deteriorated in the eyes of the public."Julius shook his head, didn't care about their situation, and returned the phone to Jeff. He thought it would be better if the Cellen family fell. They would feel the bitterness of being belittled by everyone. They couldn't have fun after dumping Julius in such a humiliating way. But then, a thought occurred to him. He remembered how the Bella family had treated him in the past, and he hadn't even returned the

The man even folded his legs without caring about Noel's anger.Hearing this, Noel became even more enraged, "You useless man! Stop your nonsense and get out of there! I don't want to see disgusting scum like you polluting my company!"Instantly, the room was filled with buzzing. Some people seemed to be whispering to each other. Of course, this got Julius's attention, who glanced at them with interest."Miss Bella, who is that man? Why does Mr. Noel seem so angry?" Someone wearing a black suit asked Bella, as he happened to be sitting closest to the girl.Bella naturally turned her head and said, "Of course my father is angry. Diego managed to escape and leave the city of Pharao. The man disappeared as if swallowed by the earth. Not a single person managed to find his whereabouts. He was hiding in several places and moving from one place to another over the next few days and months. The man was nowhere to be seen, and people began to lose track of him running away. Several flyers had been distributed, with the word 'fugitive' written all over the city, preventing the man from moving freely. Still, Diego persisted and disguised himself so that his true face was hard to recognise. Perhaps, if his business partners accidentally met him, they wouldn't be able to acknowledge Diego's current face, as it had changed too much.Like today, Diego came out of the small apartment he had rented for a small fee on the edge of town. The flat, built on three levels, with each unit only a quarter of the size of Diego's old living room, is painted a dull grey. Each team had a small balcony with a rusty old iron railing that

Diego ran down the stairs at high speed. He could hear the gunfire racing behind him. Although he didn't see it firsthand, Diego could tell by now that the pursuers had reached his private room. That's because he could hear footsteps pounding up there, right on the floor that separated the study from the shortcut to the back door. Diego looked up briefly, ensuring the men couldn't find him trying to escape. Diego had a door camouflaged as a wall, just in case something unpleasant happened, like this time. Even here, he could get a lightweight, easy-to-store handgun. And that's what the two bodyguards guarding Diego and helping him escape from his home were holding onto.Unfortunately, the people chasing Diego quickly realized where he was. Suddenly, the wooden door, which was the same colour as Diego's walls, was broken down by one of the men dressed in all black with a long-barreled gun in his hand, "Stop right there!" he shouted to Diego, who was still running down the circular sta

Everyone held their breath, eyes bulging in surprise. A photo was sent, clearly visible from head to toe. He was a man over fifty years old with a black suit and hair starting to grow grey. Many people know him because he is one of the public figures who often appears and donates to several parties. However, he has also been scandalized for his behaviour of dating women and walking away. The policeman who broke the news said, "He was the one who caused the terror and beating that happened yesterday in the city center. Precisely, when we were all celebrating our own city's birthday."The police chief's statement certainly raised questions for many people. A woman still wearing an apron on her body looked surprised, she looked at the TV screen and covered her mouth in disbelief, "Isn't that Mr. Diego?" she asked with a questioning face. Apparently, it was a portrait of Wood Diego, the father of the late Marco, who had been well-known to the public because of his wealth. The man owned se
