“You cannot stay here till you're eligible to leave. That's absurd ” Ryan opposed him. Cole didn't say anything but stared at him. “Alright, what if..I find us somewhere to stay” Ryan asked. “Somewhere to stay?. You don't have anywhere to stay yet and you want to leave?” Cole asked. 

“I Will figure out everything later. All I have to do is leave this place first” Ryan replied. “Fine..” Cole said. “So, you'll come with me?” Ryan asked meekly. “I don't think it's a good idea. How are we going to survive out there. We cannot also hide from the police forever. They'll probably find us as soon as we leave” Cole stated. 

“I have friends who were just like us. They're doing great on their own now. We can do it too” Ryan stated. Cole was quite for a while, he was pondering on what to say. “Fine.. I'll come with you. But don't say I didn't try to stop you when they bring us back here” He said. 

“Yes!” Ryan said brightly. “And the plan...” Cole said and paused. Ryan stared at him waiting for him to continue. “You were saying something?” He asked. “Yes. The plan” Cole repeated. 

“What about it” Ryan asked. “ it's to be the craziest thing you've ever got involved with in your life!” Cole replied. “oh, I see..I hope it sounds good as you think ” Ryan said and laid back to sleep. 

*A week later at the facility*

It was finally Halloween and the children were all dressed up in different costumes. The party started and everyone seemed to be having fun, well almost everyone. Ryan and Cole sat in a corner and watched as the madness unfolded. 

“Mind telling me what the plan is now?” Ryan asked. “ it's quite simple really. We'll make use of the Chance created by the Party. I know every way around here so getting around shouldn't be an issue ” Cole said and halted as one of the children walked past them. 

“We need to cause a ruckus in here first. We'll need to make everyone here exit the Facility and then lure them to the gate. The guards won't be able to stop every single one of us and that might be our only chance to get out of here!” Cole stated. 

Ryan thought about it for a while. He sighed and stood up. “We have barely 5 hours left before everything goes back to normal. What can we do to cause a big disorientation within that time” He asked. 

“I don't know. Think of something ” Cole replied. They both gave it a thought. “What if we try starting a fire. Or a fake one. They should run for their lives if it involves fire right ” Ryan asked. 

“ We've always been told to move out of the facility whenever there's a fire. That might not be enough to lure them go the gate ” Coke replied. “That is right. We still need to get them to the gate...” Ryan muttered. 

“They can be pretty foolish some times you know. We can convince them to run out of the facility completely. That might not work for most of them though..” Cole stated. “No, it surely will” Ryan opposed. “It will?” Cole asked. 

“Yes. If some of them run, the others would join in fear” Ryan replied. “Oh, that makes sense ” Cole stated. 

The two soon set out to Carry out their plan. Ryan walked around for a bit searching for a costume. He was to change his costume with someone that had a less exposing one. He soon found someone and managed to talk his way into getting the costume. 

Ryan changed into his new costume and headed for the kitchen. He reached the kitchen and walked in to meet the place empty, as hoped. The kitchen was quite dark as the lights were already turned off. 

He moved around carefully. “How do I set the fire alarm off now?” Ryan asked himself staring around. “Are you really trying to get out of here” A voice suddenly asked from behind him. Ryan froze and turned around slowly. 

It was a huge letdown to him when he saw one of the children, who looked a little older than him standing there and staring at him. “Huh..what do you want..” Ryan stammered as he said. 

“You didn't answer my question. Are planning on leaving?” The boy asked again. “What are you talking about. I was just taking a walk around and got lost” Ryan said smiling nervously. 

“I overhead what you discussed with your friend. I can report you to Derris if you won't tell me the truth ” The boy stated. “Fine, Fine. I truly am trying to get out of here.What do you want to do. Are you secretly working for them so they catch anyone trying to escape?" Ryan asked sarcastically. 

“I need to leave here too” The boy replied. “ Yeah. Wait, you need to leave here too!?” Ryan exclaimed. “Yes I need to find my little sister. ” The boy replied. “You need to find your sister?. Have you tried telling them about it, they can try finding her for you” Ryan asked. 

“They only say they'll find anyone we're looking for. But the truth is, they never do” The boy replied.
