CHAPTER 78

Leonid gestured for the siblings to sit. Madison sat first, placing a hand under her chin as she peered at Leonid. Mason followed suit.

“It’s evening.” Mason muttered.

“That’s no way to greet, you know.” Viktor stated this as he got up from his seat and walked over to where Leonid was sitting.

Viktor pulled a chair that was next to Leonid’s desk and sat on it. He stared at the siblings in front of him.

“What brought you here?” Leonid asked, going straight to the point.

Madison cleared her throat. “We are here to talk about the man who tried to threaten us; we haven’t gotten a call for him yet.”

Before Leonid could reply, Viktor chimed in.

““We didn’t either. We thought he had already been caught by both of you,” Viktor replied. “He had called me previously and threatened me, but the call ended abruptly. Perhaps he was finally tired of playing games with us.”

Leonid put on a poker face as he looked at Viktor, who was lying carelessly.
