Chapter 21

Alexander looked at the red bottle. He bought a potion to relieve anxiety and could make him sleep soundly. He bought a potion whose basic ingredients came from the blood of dragons that inhabited forests, caves, or mountains.

“We can't possibly kill a dragon first to know whether its blood is dark red or black,” Alexander said. “We need another lead.”

They were sitting on a bench in a park watching children playing happily as if they had forgotten that a few days ago a horde of dragons attacked their country and left dozens of people dead and injured. In fact, many buildings are currently under renovation.

"You're right, we can't possibly kill all the dragons that meet us." Luca nodded. He was munching on the boiled sweet potatoes that Francis had bought.

"Why haven't we realized that their blood is different all this time?" Francis asked after swallowing his boiled sweet potato. "If we knew that the blood of dragons that attack humans and dragons that inhabit forests are different,
