“I failed.” Alexander stroked his chin with a frown. “So I should have killed all the dragons that attacked Licore.”

Alexander wasn’t worried about what kind of punishment he would get, nor was he wondering where he was. He wasn’t even in awe of the god transporting him to this mountain.

“I couldn’t kill all the dragons while it was raining.” Alexander raised his head, looking up at the sky as if he were meeting the eyes of the god, who had given him the chance to return to his previous life and generously granted him power.

“If it wasn’t raining, I could have killed them all. Do you think I let them live on purpose?” Alexander didn’t know who he was angry at. He just wanted to vent his anger.

“Okay, I was wrong.” Alexander nodded, folded his arms before his chest, and breathed deeply. “I should have been able to kill them all because I have strength, speed, and intelligence.”
