Chapter 8

“Hunters and Magic Hunters have been fighting with the dragons,” said Luca. He stood close to Alexander, and dread made him want to climb down from the tower.

Alexander was once scared to see dozens of dragons from the top of a 30-meter-high tower, just as Luca is now because they appeared to be able to reach them.

Alexander also felt pressured because he was tasked with killing or harming the dragons with giant arrows.

But Alexander no longer has those terrible feelings. It was all because of his previous life experiences. Furthermore, that unknown voice gave him a mysterious strength worth more than a million points.

It was the second time the dragons had attacked humans. Everyone, including Hunters and Magic Hunters, wasn't used to being attacked by dragons because, so far, they were the ones who attacked dragons.

Only Alexander was familiar with the dragons.

“The dragons didn't scatter,” Alexander complained. “They focused on countering the attacks of the Magic Hunters and Hunters. Last week, they threw fire at houses and buildings, right?”

Luca nodded. A second later, he punched Alexander's arm, and his friend showed a confused face. "Isn't it good that the dragons don't burn down houses, buildings, and so on?"

“But they are very far from us. I can't shoot them.” Alexander lowered the giant bow, then put his hand on the tower railing with his gaze fixed on the Hunter and Magic Hunter, who were fighting with the dragons 300 meters away.

“Are you able to count the number of dragons attacking Klaudstion?”

“15 dragons,” Luca answered. He gave Alexander the binoculars, but Alexander didn't accept them because he wasn't interested in seeing the Hunters and Magic Hunters fight with the dragons.

If the dragons had not flown towards the settlement, Alexander wouldn't have killed the dragons, and he would have failed in carrying out the task of the unfamiliar voice.

Alexander was curious about what kind of penalty he would get, but he was more curious whether his 1.000.400 strength could allow the giant arrows to penetrate the bodies of the dragons and kill dragons.

If not, maybe at that time, it was just a coincidence that his arrow could kill the red dragon in the forest.

In his previous life, Alexander was very annoyed to see the dragons with arrows in their wings and body parts not dying as if they were mocking him. Alexander believed they felt pain because they weren't immortal beings.

"Do you believe the dragons will not fly into the settlement? Are they simply going to combat the Hunters and Magic Hunters until they become bored and return to their lairs?" Alexander's query caused him to be punched in the arm again.

“Why do you want the dragons to come to the settlement so badly? You want to know if you can kill or injure them?” Luca glared at his friend.

“I would love to kill them.” Alexander had lost his temper. He had waited too long in the tower. He wanted to try his 1.000.400 strength, and he wanted to reduce the population of the devil's subordinate dragons.

Alexander dropped his gaze to the street below. The primary issue was that the tower was 30 meters tall. If he dared to jump down, he had no idea if he would die or just break his bones.

He turned towards the stairs. Without thinking, Alexander rushed down dozens of stairs with his hands tightly holding the giant bow and dozens of giant arrows on his back. He ignored Luca, who called him.

Alexander sprinted towards the gate before the dragons got bored of fighting the Hunters and Magic Hunters and then decided to breathe fire into the settlement.

"I will kill you all." Alexander was standing not far in front of the gate. He didn't feel breathless at all. He quickly aimed his arrow at a dragon who was fighting five spearmen. “You must die!”

The giant arrow penetrated the dragon's neck, causing the dragon to fall to the ground and die instantly.

Alexander wasted no time before the other dragons realized his friend was dead. With agility, he shot all the dragons with that giant bow. His strength and speed with 1.000.400 points each, made all the giant arrows penetrate the necks of the dragons.

The green-eyed young man was ecstatic; he had finally killed the dragons with a giant arrow. The resentment he felt in his previous life gradually melted away.

Fifteen dragons were lying on the ground, dead. Their blood blanketed the ground.

The Hunters and Magic Hunters were shocked to witness Alexander shooting all the dragons in less than a minute, and even though he seemed to be in a hurry, Alexander managed to kill all the dragons.

Luca has just arrived. He was too late to watch Alexander's action. He was shocked when all the Hunters and Magic Hunters applauded Alexander's brave actions, and they were amazed at Alexander's archery skills.

"Crazy." Luca said. “You are so crazy. You don't need me to control the wind.” Luca was happy and sad, but he was proud to be friends with Alexander.

“Bro.” Francis ran towards Alexander. “You're amazing.” He patted Alexander's shoulder. “I have decided today I am your number one fan!”

Alexander rolled his eyes. “You are too much.”

The Hunters and Magic Hunters were busy taking the eyes, hearts, and skin of the 15 dragons.

Alexander was entitled to all sales revenues under the regulations. However, he requested that the sales proceeds be divided fairly because he didn't require the money.

Francis and Luca disliked Alexander's arrogance. They stated Alexander didn't need money since the green-eyed young man always received so much money from his father that he couldn't decide what to do with his money.

“I must kill five dragons again.” Alexander stepped outside the gate, gazing around, and concluded that no more dragons would come to attack.

"What are you doing outside the gate?" asked Ezra, the dragon hunter organization's deputy chief.

Alexander gazed at Ezra, sitting on the back of a brown horse. "Where are you going?" He didn't respond to Ezra's inquiry.

“I want to see other countries.”

"Can I come along?" Suddenly, Alexander got the idea to kill dragons attacking another country.

“Why do you want to come?” Ezra raised his eyebrows.

“I want to kill the dragons. I'm not satisfied with just killing 15 dragons," answered Alexander casually.

Ezra's jaw dropped. "Wow, you're addicted to killing dragons?"

"Yes." Alexander nodded. "So, can I come along?"

"Have you told your father?" Ezra narrowed his eyes. He knew Alexander very well. The green-eyed young man loved to make his parents' heads spin with his actions.

“Dad will not forbid me. Especially when he found out I helped other countries to kill the dragons that attacked them.” Alexander stroked Ezra's brown horse hair.

Ezra snorted. “You have to take responsibility if I get scolded by your father!”

Alexander gave a thumbs up. Then he sat behind Ezra. He had given up the giant bow and arrows to his father, who was furious that he had threatened his life after complimenting his archery abilities.

The brown horse they were riding rushed toward the neighboring country.

The Hunters and Magic Hunters in Mdaemon were still fighting the dragons. Alexander and Ezra didn't enter the country's boundaries; they only observed from just outside the 2-meter-high boundary wall.

Alexander stood aboard Ezra's horse without thinking twice. Ezra quickly calmed the brown horse down after the horse was spooked and about to go mad.

Alexander pointed his arrows at the dragons about 10 meters away. He would know if his arrow was on aim after he tested it. He was confident since he had enormous abilities.

"Wow, amazing." Ezra gaped as he watched Alexander quickly and precisely shoot several dragons.

[You have completed your task.]

[Congratulations on getting a reward and additional points.]

Alexander smiled with satisfaction. “It's great to have unrivaled power.”
