DO YOU BELIEVE ME NOW?

"Don't you want to talk to me?" asked Maks that morning, during breakfast with Siena and Mrs. Kev.

"I'm eating," Siena replied lightly. Meanwhile, Mrs. Kev sneered furtively.

The middle-aged woman watched Siena's coldness toward Maks with pleasure.

"Siena!" called Maks, who was getting a little agitated. This was because Siena's cold attitude had been going on for several days. Even though his wife already understood that what was in the photo was not what it looked like.

"Alright, I'll leave for the office now," Maks said as he got up from his seat, without finishing his food. Siena's attitude made his stomach suddenly full.

Siena just kept quiet without preventing Maks from leaving.

"Are you okay, dear?" asked Mrs. Kev, feigning sympathy for her adopted daughter.

"I'm fine," Siena replied.

"Are you guys having a problem? You can tell me about it, Siena."
