"Mr. Charles, good morning," Andrew said hello to Charles when he saw him come into his office.

"Good morning too, Mr. Andrew. How was it? Have you given any thought to my offer?" asked Charles.

"Yes, of course. But can the terms be changed, Mr. Charles? I think 50% of the shares is too much. After all, my company is a big company, not a start-up. I have many connections. So you don't have to worry if your investment fails in this company." Andrew made another offer so that he wouldn't lose too much by accepting the offer.

If Andrew wasn't in a hurry, he would have said no to Charles immediately. It's understandable why he would feel that way. Giving away half of the shares is like giving away the company that Andrew has worked hard to build since he was young and letting Charles have it.

How could Andrew think like that? Of course, it's because he only owns 30% of the shares in the company, while the rest is owned by other investors even though the amount is not more than his.
