Survive

With gasping breaths, Jack continued his struggle in the car, which was sinking further. Every movement he made felt like a last-ditch attempt to escape the tragic fate that lurked for him at the bottom of the dark lake. The pain from his broken thumb shackled his every movement, but his resolve to survive continued to strengthen.

His body which was tightly bound by rope became a big obstacle in his efforts to fight the situation. The state of panic was getting worse due to the lack of oxygen, and Jack could feel his pulse speed up. The water that continued to enter the car created increasing pressure, destroying its hopes of survival.

His free hand reached for the steering wheel in desperation. A violently yanked steering wheel becomes his final weapon against time. In a state of urgency, Jack pulled the steering wheel with all his strength, forgetting the pain that pricked his fingers.
