Maxwell jolted out of his thoughts to meet the peeping eyes of Riya before him.

"Yes, I.. I'm okay" He stuttered.

Riya exhaled softly and sat beside him. Amelia had excused herself a few minutes ago saying she had something to do in her room.

Maxwell looked around and asked "Where is Amelia?" He asked in a low voice.

"She said she needs to attend to something, you didn't hear it when she told you?" Riya asked.

Maxwell let out a reliefing sigh and said in a low voice. "There's a lot to be worried about, Riya".

Riya placed her hand on his shoulder and said, "You do not have to worry about Amelia. She's a good lady and you'll come to see that for yourself" She said.

Maxwell blinked his eyes in surprise at her words, why on earth will she advise him to like Amelia?
