Chapter Thirty Nine

Riya met with the lady at her office the next day.

She had gotten there a little earlier than their agreed time and she was made to wait in an open space at the corner of the office entrance.

Unlike the first time when she visited, she was the only person waiting.

Riya took the opportunity to explore the beautiful paintings on the wall.

There was a spherical object that portrayed the world's shape and design.

As she rolled it from one curve to another, she heard footsteps approaching her.

Riya turned around to see the lady standing a few steps away from her.

She straightened herself up and cleared her throat. "Hello, Ma'am... Sorry I was carried away by the beautiful designs" She said pointing at the paintings on the wall.

"It okay, Riya... I'm glad you like them" She said walking over the popular Monalisa giant painting that hung on the right end of the wall.

"That's my favourite art piece" Riya remarked as the lady's hand ran through the painting slowly.

"You've got eyes"
