Andrew stood outside the store, preparing to head home, when Hannah rushed out to meet him, seeking to apologize for her previous behavior.

"Andrew, wait up!" Hannah called out.

Andrew wasn't in the mood, knowing that Hannah would bombard him with numerous questions.

"I'm sorry for how rudely I behaved earlier. Please disregard my attitude," Hannah earnestly attempted to clarify herself.

"It's alright, there's no need to apologize. You didn't say anything wrong. However, I must be on my way now. I have other things to attend to," Andrew finally interjected, wanting to distance himself from Hannah, especially considering she had a boyfriend.

Hannah couldn't quite comprehend why he was avoiding her. "That's alright. I'll give you a call later," she said with a smile, waving him goodbye.

Andrew was taken aback since he hadn't given Hannah his number, yet she confidently asserted that she would call him. Nevertheless, he didn't dwell on it, attributing it to her own reasoning.

Andrew tapped the amount section and impulsively placed a bid of $60 million without much consideration. "There, that should do it. Over $60 million transferred and ready to secure the Emerald Crest," he said quietly, his face filled with determination. Meanwhile, Damian still bid the official amount, Damian thought to himself. "That loser just seems to be bragging he can never afford even 40 million dollars, so there is no need for me to waste my time in placing a higher bet. This property is mine," Damian smiled as he looked at Andrew. Just then, Evelyn emerged from her office and announced, "The bidding has been placed, and we officially have a winner." Damian eagerly anticipated hearing his own name, but to his astonishment, the outcome was quite the opposite. "Mr. Andrew Everest, you have won the bid. Congratulations and yo

I'm here as a shareholder of this company, and I would like to discuss an important matter with the manager. • The Hidden Legacy; I Will Rise Through Every Pain    Stellarite Gem Stone

It was almost midnight as Andrew was still in the office, examining the company's financial ledgers, analyzing the profits and losses incurred over the previous years."Hmmm... Besides the mismanagement, it appears that the sales of Prime Stone have significantly declined. It seems the mining sites we currently have are no longer valuable," Andrew murmured, his gaze fixed on the map laid out on his desk.Stellarite Resources, a mining company specializing in rare orbs, had suffered due to the previous owner's poor decision-making when acquiring mining locations. Initially, they had struck gold with Prime Stone, a highly sought-after gem with properties comparable to diamonds. However, as the market became saturated with Prime Stone, sales plummeted, rendering it unprofitable for the company."I believe it's time to diversify. • Am I Pregnant?

A dull ache throbbed in the back of Andrew’s head, pulsing with every slow, sluggish beat of his heart. His eyelids felt heavy, like weights were pulling them down, but as he forced them open, a harsh, fluorescent light stabbed into his vision. He inhaled deeply, only to be met with the stale, artificial air of a sealed-off room."Where am I?" He tried shifting, but the sharp tug on his arms stopped him. Then it hit him, he was restrained. Thick ropes dug into the skin of his wrists, binding his hands behind the back of a cold metal chair. His ankles were secured to the chair legs, making it impossible to move.Andrew exhaled slowly, forcing his brain to catch up.The last thing he remembered was the chaos on the plane. The hijackers, the fight, the syringe. He had been drugged and now…His gaze flickered around the unfamiliar space. They weren’t in some random warehouse or basement. This was still inside the airport.A security checkpoint, to be exact. The X-ray machines, conveyor bel

Because why would anything go smoothly for once?He closed his eyes briefly before shaking his head."Terrorists. Great." But Andrew wasn’t panicking. That would be a waste of time. He’d dealt with worse than these guys. For a second, he considered just staying out of it.Maybe if he let them do their thing, the flight would land, and he could walk away without getting involved. But then he saw one of the men grab a flight attendant by the hair, yanking her forwar

Or had she moved on?Andrew exhaled sharply and tossed the phone o“Andrew, we need to move.” Taylor's voice could be heard.Andrew pulled himself together, pushing aside his emotions.“I’m on my way.”He gripped his steering wheel and drove toward the airport, his escape plan was already in motion.***********Andrew sat in the backseat of the black sedan, his fingers tapping against his knee as he stared out the tinted window. The city lights of Lantana flickered past. The clock was ticking.Taylor adjusted his earpiece, his fingers flying over a tablet as he monitored the security feeds.“They’ve increased surveillance,” Taylor muttered. “The airport is swarming with agents. You’ll have to be careful.”Andrew smirked. “Since when have I ever

  • I'm Leaving

Andrew wasn’t panicking; that would be a waste of time. He already had numerous bank accounts and some money stored in Swiss accounts, so he was still very wealthy. All he needed to do now was go to a safe place.Few hours later, Andrew had sucessfully gone to one of his numerous safe house. This particular one was a modest apartment hidden in the outskirts of Lantana City. The place was nothing compared to his penthouse or even his secondary residences, but right now, it was the only place where he wouldn’t be tracked.Across the room, Fredrick, Leon, and Taylor stood as they searched through multiple news articles, financial reports, and social media feeds. Taylor finally turned from his laptop, his face grim.“This is worse than last time,” he said. “The police aren’t just investigating you, Andrew. They’re actively hunting you down. They’ve put out a warrant.”Andrew leaned back, exhaling sharply.“They’ve backed me into a corner,” he murmured.Leon crossed his arms. “And if they

  • Reverse Equation

Andrew leaned back in his chair, a rare smirk tugging at his lips. His fingers drummed rhythmically against the mahogany table as the boardroom fell silent. The projection screen at the front of the room displayed the financial reports of Blackwood & Associates, flashing red with losses."By this time next month," Andrew said smoothly, adjusting the cuff of his suit, "Blackwood will be nothing but a cautionary tale in corporate history."The board members exchanged glances. Some were skeptical, others impressed."You're certain of this?" one of the executives, a man with gray hair in his sixties, asked.Andrew turned his sharp gaze toward him. "I don’t make moves unless I’m certain, Caldwell."The numbers didn’t lie. Blackwood was bleeding. Their recent government contract dispute had cost them millions, and their internal executive infighting was turning their boardroom into a battlefield. Andrew had meticulously orchestrated their collapse, feeding just enough misinformation into t

The boardroom was silent, all eyes on Andrew as he stood confidently at the head of the table. His executives had been debating all morning. Some wanted to sell off underperforming subsidiaries to stabilize Stellarite’s finances. Others were hesitant about expanding during a volatile market.Andrew had let them argue. Now, it was time to shut it down.He clicked the remote in his hand, switching the presentation slide."You're all focused on playing defense," he said, his voice smooth but firm. "But defense doesn't win wars. We don’t survive by retreating—we thrive by expanding."One of the executives, a sharp-suited woman named Lorraine, crossed her arms. "With respect, Mr.Andrew, expansion requires capital. And given our recent setbacks—"Andrew smirked. "Which is exactly why we need to strike now."Another slide appeared—financial reports on Blackwood & Associates.Andrew continued. The city lights blurred past as Andrew twisted the throttle, pushing the bike to its limits. Hannah clung to his waist, her pulse racing as bullets whizzed past them, some sparking off street signs.A quick glance in the side mirror showed three more pursuers closing in.One of them pulled ahead, raising a gun. Hannah reacted instinctively.BANG!Her shot hit the guard’s tire, sending him skidding sideways before crashing into a parked car. The explosion lit up the night behind them.Andrew let out a low whistle. “Damn. You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”Hannah grinned, breathless. “Not gonna lie—this might be the best day ever!”Andrew’s smirk vanished instantly. He shot her a quick glance.“What?”She laughed, still firing back at their pursuers. “I mean, come on! The adrenaline, the chase—this is insane!”Andrew’s brows furrowed. Hannah never enjoyed violence. She had always been the calm, logical one. The one who hated the reckless chaos that came with their old life.Something wa

A large steel door was ahead, with a high-tech biometric scanner.Taylor’s voice was sharp. “Andrew, this thing is fortified like a government facility. How do you plan to—”Before Taylor could finish, Andrew pulled out a small device from his jacket pocket and slapped it onto the scanner.Andrew’s fingers worked quickly as he cracked the encrypted safe. The screen blinked green, and with a quiet click, the door swung open.Inside, resting on a velvet cushion, was a black hard drive—small, unassuming, but packed with enough information to bury Vincent Blackwood’s empire.Andrew picked it up, smirking. “Bingo.”Hannah peered over his shoul
