The phone rang and Cephas looked at his phone screen. Violet's name flashed on the screen and he groaned.

He didn't want to talk to her at the moment but he picked up the phone. He had not had the time to delete her number from his phone.

He had been extremely busy lately that he barely had time to look at his phone or even keep Violet in his mind.

His love for her had died but he could not deny that he still had a soft spot for her.

"Hello" He said curtly, flipping the pages of the files on the new bank he just purchased.
