“Are you speaking to me?” Ruth demanded, and she was shocked by Tyla’s response.

She had thought that Tyla was intimidated by her that was why she hadn’t spoken a word but Ruth realized that Tyla might not be calm like she thought.

“Yes, Mrs Steel-Walter, you demand some respect but you have done nothing but say disrespectful words to me since you got here.” She answered.

“I can say whatever I want to anyone, who are you to tell me that I am disrespecting you? Just because you are dressed in white, doesn’t mean you deserve my respect.” Ruth said.

“This is different from what I have heard about you.”

“What did a peasant like you hear about me and how is it supposed to affect me?”

"Well, I should tell you, words have it that you are well-known for your kind words and accommodating heart, now that I have met you, I see they are all lies. The media knows nothing about you.”
